The rooms could have been better. It did not have basic universal charging plugs as well. Have been to better Taj hotels than this. This one would be right at the bottom.

I absolutely loved the Taj Deccan. My second visit here on this trip, and the staff were as kind as I remembered them the first time.
The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and the service is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble.
Despite the location, it is silent - even in the pool outside, where the road isn't that far away, there is no noise, and I was able to relax.

Outdated hotel. Staff is nice but property has weddings/parties in the lawn so if your room in next to the lawn, good luck getting sleep/relaxing with Very loud music and noise. I switched rooms and new room had a leak in the bathroom. They fixed it but it was a hack.

This place was phenomenal. This was probably the best service I’ve ever received at a hotel, ever. The food is great and breakfast spread is impressive. 10/10.
My only knock on the hotel is the area that it’s in. It’s…boring. Not a deal breaker, but if you are someone who likes to walk from your accommodation to find places to eat, access public transport, go on a walk, see things, take photographs, then the location makes things a bit difficult.
