Nice property with very good restaurant, multiple pools, helpful staff. Room was ok, with a nice view! Staff arranged for a two hour taxi/tour of the surrounding area, highly recommended!

First off, this hotel has amazing views of the ocean and surrounding forrests. The pools are also pretty nice. The rooms are a bit old (especially the furniture!) but are comfortable. With a bit of investment, this place could be considered almost luxurious. The downsides: no coffee in room (maybe not a Mexican custom?), and the one sold at the restaurant is a bit pricey. WiFi in rooms is spotty, sometimes terrible (it's fine around the pool though). The main issue is the noise... this place is VERY popular with families, so expect a lot of kids and teens having a great time in the pool until closure at 10pm. Very few foreigners so you get a real Mexican experience.

beautiful hotel nice Oceanview. unfortunately, there was no elevator we needed to carry our luggage through the stairs to the last floor. staff at the front desk would really need to be more friendly.

Hotel offers only the basics. Outside of the pool and swimming there was nothing to do or places to hang out. Water pressure was very weak. Staff was very helpful. Not all spoke English.

The property is very well kept and beautiful. Simple but yet efficient. It could improve by having an elevator. It would also help to have a mini fridge and microvave in the rooms.

I had a very nice stay at this property. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was conveniently located and I could walk to many areas. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent customer service, great area and location, very convenient and close to many stores and restaurants.
Close access to a beach.
Room was really great and room service was great as well it was always kept very clean.
Overall it was an amazing experience.
Definitely coming back and I will recommend to everyone!!!!

The view from the hotel is amazing! Being up on the hill, there is gorgeous landscape as far as the eye can see. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The grounds are beautifully kept and right now they have lovely lights and decorations for the Christmas season. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, we slept so well! We enjoyed swimming in the pools, again very clean and well kept. The staff were really nice, helpful and pleasant. The hotel is in a fantastic location, about 15-20 min walk to Santa Cruz, or La Crucecita center, or Playa Chahue. We walked everywhere (day and night) and loved it, always felt safe. There's also a large supermarket about 5 min walking distance, which made it so easy to get anything you need.
We loved our stay at Princess Mayev hotel and will definitely stay again next time we come to Huatulco!
