It was right on the beach. Very welcoming staff. The place is beautiful. The room was spacious even though it was laid out with both the bed and tv facing away from the ocean. Could have placed the furniture to see the ocean

This may sound silly but we stayed in room 909. The couch and the bed both faced away from the ocean. If the room would have just been flip flopped it would have been laid out the same just facing the OCEAN. And no microwave in the room.

Ashore has been my go to hotel when in Ocean city...

false advertising - websites said it was remodeled, there would be a restaurant, brunch, etc., no gym, unde3r construction, very loud in the morning, contractors were working above our room, bathrooms were very difficult to get to from the beach

Didn’t have the indoor pool or any of the restaurants (other than the bar) that the website stated. Did not have a gym as advertised.

Location. Only steps away from beach. The resort provides towels for both beach and pool.

The check out time was way too early. Should be Atleast 12 pm. The smell of our room was offensive. Smelled of mildewl. We had a leak in our room the entire stay. One morning my husband forgot to take his suitcase off the bed and housekeeping came in and wouldn’t change our sheets due to the suitcase with wheels being left on bed. Told the front desk and housekeeping twice we moved the suitcase and they indicated they would be back to change the sheets and never showed. The room doesn’t have carpet so you constantly feel all the sand on floor and have to walk around with shoes on or your feet turn black. The balcony is only a standing balcony. Great view to beach but can’t sit out on your deck to enjoy the view. This property has the potential to be better but needs staff who are friendly and actually like their job. Everyone employed here seemed so miserable.

Hotel staff was great and the hotel inside including rooms were very clean.

The dog poop and pee. Need to get rid of the dogs! They were barking in the rooms also. Hotel staff was great, but the beech staff was rude.

I liked room view, the bedding and decor and the proximity of the hotel to the beach. The outdoor bar/cafe had good service and the food and drinks were delicious. Ample parking. Even though our room wasn't ready when we arrived, we were given some complimentary items while we waited.

Maybe after construction it will be a good place. The idea is good. Floor in guest room was FILTHY! Had to wipe a minor water spill off floor and towel was literally black with one quick swipe.

No access to beach from back. Have to go out front and walk around. Staff amd mgr was not friendly, truthful or helpful

Our room was very nice, spacious, and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We also loved that we had a bonus pull-out sofa. It was also nice to have a mini fridge and a single coffee pot.

The balcony was small. Not nig enough to put a chair out to sit on.
