The front desk lady was great and very quick, helping me get into a new room once my first room was disgusting.

The rooms (both of them) were NOT clean. There was peoples hair in the comforters and sheets on both beds, eye lashes or pubic hair all over the bathrooms and one of the beds had crumbs all over it like someone just ate crackers prior to us arriving. It was very evident that the sheets were not clean, which had stains and marks all over them. Every bath towel had stains on it...disgusting. and the floors may have been swept (at best) and never vacuumed. Overall, the rooms looked good from a distance, but the second you actually look around... run for your life.

we have stayed before and offered up suggestions for the pet friendly rooms. it was nice to see those suggestions implemented- sound baffles in hallway and door strips to seal the gaps between hallway door and floor. very helpful for reducing noise and keeping dogs calm as others move about the building

the housekeeping in the room was lacking. the housekeeping supervisor needs to be assessing more rooms and holding cleaners to standards. the bathroom floor had ramen noodle bits scattered about upon our arrival. the room itself had a vague odor of having had cats present and the floor along the edge where the entrance runs toward the refrigerator has an awful buildup of filth. the mop is not clean and dirty water is pooling along the edge leaving a dark stain in the texture of the floor planking. perhaps a steam mop and prt enzyme cleaner would be a good option to help sanitize between visiting pets. beer bottle caps are stuck inside the ac unit vent grate and the ceiling vent for the bath is in need of a deep clean. room 201.

Spacious room, comfortable beds

No real facilities for breakfast even if it was included in the price of the room.

I liked the property location, and the room spacing.

The linens, and towels need to be changed out. Some of them had stains like they weren’t clean. The cleaning staff didn’t seem to be well trained.

Audrey at the counter was amazing and so helpful. She recommended a place to eat. Crab Bags was just what we needed to eat and talk with family. Great trip.

Location was great. Wasn't thrilled about their "breakfast". But for the price I paid I wasn't worried about that.

There was a lot kinda a lot of hair in my hotel room which grossed me out. That's really the only negative thing I have to say.

it could’ve been cleaner

Staff was friendly as always. We Have been coming to the Fenwick Inn in January or February for the past 7 years, not including the years they were closed for remodeling. We bring our granddaughter so she can swim in the winter. There is a nice indoor pool and hot tub.

The remodel at the hotel eliminated carpet in the rooms. This made for a lot of noise. I'm hard of hearing and could clearly hear conversations from the next room and while passing doors walking through the hall. Another disappointment is there are no microwaves in the rooms. There is a fridge, but a microwave is a necessity in my opinion. I will inquire about the microwave before I book next year. I will book at another hotel if there are not microwaves next year.

The Hotel is in a good North Ocean City Location. The staff is very nice! The hotel and rooms are clean and the room sizes are good. The Pool is nice and comfortably heated. There is convenient parking.

They are doing construction throughout the hotel and it sounded as though they were working above our room as well. The loud noises started at 8:00 am sharp every morning and lasted through out the day! The website said nothing about ongoing construction. Also, the fire alarm went off as well in the morning because of the construction and we had to run outside in the freezing cold until it was cleared. The hallways are not heated and were incredibly cold. The heater is not strong enough to heat the entire room, therefore the half closest to the heater is hot and the rest of the room and the bathroom especially are freezing! I imagine the reverse problem will exist in the summer and the room not being uniformly cooled. We were not able to get hot water from the sink faucet at all and the bath faucet takes about 4 minutes to start getting hot water. There are no soft close hinges on the room doors, so every time someone comes or goes, there is a loud slam noise. Breakfast was not a continental breakfast, it consisted only of bagged grocery store bagels, cream cheese, butter substitute and jam packets, very stale mini muffins, bananas and packets of instant oatmeal.
