property was outdated, it needed repairs (sliding screen door was not on track, mounding hanging from bedroom ceiling, microwave did not work, had a musty smell, and had mice!!!!!! We found the washer with wet towels that appeared to be there for a day or two and was smelling terribly.

it was a good location with tons of parking. we never had to leave the complex for the wedding we were at

some units were more up to date then others. our had some wear and tear (broken soap dish shelf in shower. curtains off track. bathroom vent fan that didn’t work) and sadly we discovered black mold or black dirt over the central air/heating closet on our last night there.

Great family atmosphere. Staff is exceptionally pleasant and professional. Loved the convenient location and property amenities. Unit very clean and comfortable.

Sauna wasn’t working. The write up on this unit should have stated that it has a Murphy bed and sofa bed. Thank goodness I was able to deal with it. Would be a disaster for any body who couldn’t. Would have been nice to know it was on the first floor which actually was convenient even though it didn’t have the views.

The hotel itself was excellent! If you aren’t into the boardwalk and want to be able to just stay at your hotel, it’s perfect! Entertainment, shops, ice cream, pools! The staff here was amazing and helpful!

But do not book a room that’s managed by Vacasa. They don’t clean, they don’t take care of any issues you have. Terrible customer service. The staff in the hotel are excellent! I will definitely book here again but not one that’s managed by Vacasa. We had no power in one of our second bedrooms, they gave us a parking spot that would only fit a Prius and then left it to the hotel staff to take care of. just terrible customer service.

Elevators can be a log jam Room was not cleaned very good and they charged a cleaning fee!

The view

The condition of the room. It was not the same room as I viewed on line. Somehow we were given a different room than I booked. Filthy dirty carpet and torn up furniture that should never have been in ANY room! Wallpaper was falling off the walls. Needs a total renavation.

Super easy to collect keys and communication from the renters was great. Beautiful view of the bayside and Oceanside.

Beds were not comfortable at all. Woke up very sore. The main room tv was fuzzy the whole stay. A few little things in the rooms could be fixed and it looked like the maid didn’t vacuum the carpet in the living room. (Wobbly glass table) (Curtains in main bedroom didn’t close all the way)

The views were spectacular!! The complex offered many facilities, though many amenities were closed for the season so we really can’t rate them. We a short drive to many great restaurants and the boardwalk.

The condo isn’t conducive for 4 travelers and seating could be more comfortable. An air mattress helped our situation.

We liked the view. It was convenient to the venue we attended.

The air conditioning didn't work, they had fans everywhere for us to use (when we entered the room it was 82 degrees and it never got below 78 degrees, couldn't get TVs to work. Beds were uncomfortable, room was not very clean, outdated, tub was scummy and filled up with water when showers were taken, a blind was damaged and freezer shelf was rusty. I even called to let them know and never heard anything back from them to come look at some of our issues.

Master bath toilet seat chipped up, 2nd bedroom closet doors would not slide open (neither door), TV in living room, even at max volume on remote, was not loud enough to hear well, carpet spotted (animal in here previously?), hot water ran out first night, master bath shower water faucets coming loose, loveseat torn (covered by flimsy sheet, refridge old (haven’t had to fill ice trays in years!), walls soiled, frayed and unworthy of otherwise nice condo, light switch in 2nd bedroom not working, front closet (by front door) filled with trash (old, used wallboard with nails sticking out, etc.

Golden Sands is a great property! It is right on the beach and has great amenities! We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and the snack bar. The main property is very well maintained. The view from our condo was amazing and it was a nice space for our family.

Our particular condo (1112)was in need of major renovations. The furniture has torn places, the bathrooms have mold in the showers and a broken faucet along with a broken towel bar. The bathroom tiles are cracked in several places. One of the couches was covered with a sheet. The carpets have multiple stains. Periodic maintenance is just not being kept up with. It was just not a clean, comfortable space where we could relax.
