The beds were super comfortable and private with curtains, light and a plug. There was a button to switch the heating on if needed and plenty of locker space. The views from the kitchen/lounge were breathtaking. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. It’s a lovely hostel and I wish I’d stayed longer.

It’s truly a lovely hostel but if I had to point out one thing to improve it would be the automatic lights. They switch off automatically when there’s no movement but the sensors are not very accurate. They switch off when there’s people in the room and I even found myself showering in the dark once.

The location is great, right beside the Dark Sky Project assembly location and near to the supermarket. The lounge and kitchen area are clean and great with view to the Lake Tekapo.

The room size is small. We can hear noise from other rooms in the morning.

提前一天就不打招呼直接扣信用卡钱，别的酒店都是办入住时才付款，private room房间非常逼仄，浴室沐浴时下水道有点慢，下午1点多到的问前台人员能否提前check in，前台说得下午2点，然后下午2点来前台一个人都没有，过了5-10分钟才来人，还要passport和信用卡信息，还扣了1纽币至今未归还，

地理位置非常棒，打开窗帘就能看到星空或是蒂卡普湖，店员很热情，有存放行李的地方，一楼有个很大的公用厨房，二楼有打台球的地方，由于我们不是自驾，没有留意是否有不好停车的问题

酒店整体设施还是比较简约的，虽然设施也算完备，但相对于价格来说，是整趟行程中最贵的，因此，性价比不算太高，但考虑到整个蒂卡普的酒店数量与游客数量的不平衡，其实也无可厚非，总体来说，我还是很推荐入住的

It was the most expensive hostel ever. Although the location was great, accomodations and facility were below par for the price we paid. Our room had no coffee, no water, no trash can, no kleenex, no table, only a small stool. Yet, we paid US$305. Minimal bath room had a small square curtain shower. Highly unlikely to recommend.

First hostel experience and it vastly exceeded our expectations.

The lake view was beautiful, room was spotless clean, staff were super helpful. Nice is also the onsite coin laundry room, very handy. Highly recommend going on a star gazing tour with Dark Sky Project which is right next door!

It was so close to the bus stop and so comfortable. Our private space was with light and consent plugs. I could see star gazing just a few minutes walk from the house.

If I pay this amount, I want to have the bath towel and some shampoo and body soap.

Big kitchen with lots of equipments to use, confortable bed, clean bathrooms. The intercity bus stops so close to the hostel. Very close to the church of the Good Shepard.

Een fantastisch bed met een heerlijk kussen. Het is een mooie locatie met veel voorzieningen op het terrein.

Er waren koffie- en theefaciliteiten volgens de folder, maar de zakjes koffie/thee lagen niet op de kamer. Wél stond er een waterkoker. Na het afwassen van de ontbijtspullen zag ik een bus koffie op het aanrecht staan...

Es ist eine super schöne Wohnung die gut gelegen ist. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Da ich abends Sterne schauen war ist das System mit den Schülerkarten super gut.

Lage 2er Zimmer grosse Küche..

Die Türen sind viel zu schwer und knallen immer zu auch wen man versucht sie leise zu schliessen... Schade..

The bed is really comfortable — it comes with a bedside light, two power sockets with USB & USB-C ports, and curtains for privacy. There are sufficient storage under the bed & by the side (you will need to bring your own padlock). Bathroom is really clean. Hair dryer is available for communal use. You can stargaze directly outside the property. Location is super convenient and walking distance to most popular places!
