Overall good experience. Everything we used worked as it should. The only downside is you want to use the lake the hill is a long and steep walk.

The cabin was great was exactly as described, plenty of space, the games were enjoyed by all. Jake was easy to work with, we ended up leaving a knife behind and he worked with us to get it back which was great, would stay again.

This is our second time staying at the cabin. Plenty of space for a group of 9. Jake was very timely with questions that were asked. Will definitely return. Check in and check out we’re easy.

My wife and I stayed here with our 3 adult children, their spouses and our 7 grandchildren. The house was as advertised with many available activities. There was plenty of room in the house so we did not feel cramped. Very nice view. We brought UTV's to enjoy the local trail system and the parking got a little tight, since we had 3 trailers, but was not unmanageable. The only negative would be the one neighboring property was a little sketchy, but you really only notice it when driving in and out. We would stay here again, for sure.

We had a great time; the cabin was perfect for the group we had (5 couples). Parking was kind of tight if you have a trailer but very manageable if you unload on the road and back in. We did have 6 Jeeps and a truck/trailer combo and was able to park all of in in the parking space provided. The lake was very quiet on our weekend making the morning coffee on the deck seeing the fog lift on the water, listing to the Loons and watching the Eagles.

we had such a nice time! the cabin was gorgeous, and much bigger than I was expecting! the kids had a blast catching sunnies down at the lake and it was such a perfect environment for a getaway weekend to relax together.

We absolutely loved this beautiful cabin. The accommodations are lovely! The lake is a great size, not too big so that it is really busy, but big enough to enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing- we definitely took advantage of the watercraft that Jake made available to us! The setting is so serene and close to wonderful hiking trails and beautiful forests. The little town of Walker is charming with cute shops, coffee shops and restaurants. We highly recommend a visit!

We had a nice weekend here. The cabin was as described. It has a nice up north log cabin feel and Howard Lake is spectacular. It's the perfect lake for water skiing. One thing to note is the walk down to the lake from the cabin is very steep.

We booked this beautiful log house for a fishing vacation for our 4 adult children and families. It was just what we needed for the 15 in our party. The place was clean, comfortable and had plenty to do inside and out. We wouldn't hesitate to book again!

The boat was excellent, the walk to it was steep. The house worked very nicely for our group, but it has a rodent problem.

We loved the cabin and the lake. The cabin was great for our family of 15. The path to the lake posed no problem for children and adults but might prove a challenge for the elderly.

Great place to entertain kids and adults alike. Great pontoon (extra fee). Jake is an easygoing property manager and in no way makes it seem like he’s trying to micromanage your stay. We enjoyed ourselves.

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Loved the screened in porch. All the comforts of home but in a great setting. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to get away. The lake is clean and the water is really clear. Was not ready to come home. Jake, the homeowner, is a super guy and very responsive to texts and calls. Renting from someone like him makes the whole process even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place.

This was a beautiful location with a great cabin that easily handled the needs of 17 people. Jake was just a text away if we had any questions. Would highly recommend and if we have the opportunity, would stay again!!

This cabin/house was perfect for the ten of us although we did find that bunk beds may not be ideal since we’re all over 65. It was clean, GPS took us right to the location, Jake was exceptionally accommodating and the communication was great. Would definitely recommend this vacation home to anyone.

This is the second time my family, friends and I spent a great christmas in this property! Everything was perfect, clean and cozy. Better than in pictures! This is a place we definitely come back as many times as we can.

Our stay at the cabin was fantastic. There were 14 of us and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. The owner was great to work with and everything was clean and just as described. Would be a great location for any family celebration.

We rented this home for a 4wheeling vacation. There are trails conveniently located right across the highway. The house was beautiful, clean and very well stocked. We loved having three separate sleeping/bathroom areas. Jake was readibly available, helpful and return my calls quickly.Would definitely return to this home!

Cabin was awesome! Water access (as others have said) not the best, though the lake itself is beautiful. 10 minutes from Groceries in Walker. Owner communication was good, though perhaps less than other VRBO's I've been involved with. Check out rules were simple & not overly burdensome. Would stay again.
