This was our 2nd year at this house and 3rd staying in one of Carolyn's (and team) houses on a beautiful Minnesota lake. The house is updated and comfy for 6 adult women who each need our own bedroom and just a little fussy about the beds! And a big kitchen for cooking. The outdoor space is amazing, we lived on the covered terrace with the amazing lake view.
We highly recommend this house!

We had a fabulous time making memories we will cherish forever! Kitchen was well stocked and everything was labeled well. Only negative was it got really stuffy inside the house, and we couldn't figure out how to keep i cool. This was user error on our parts. Great house! Geat times!

This place has everything! Our group ranged from 2 - 82 years old. Plenty of space, quiet neighborhood/lake, and the views are spectacular!! The pontoon is an awesome amenity although we caught many fish right off the dock! All of the indoor & outdoor activites are top notch; highly recommend this place! It was wonderful to meet the owners, such nice ladies!

The Haven was a perfect place for our gathering to honor our father who passed a few years ago. The location and setting couldn’t have been more beautiful and the spacious living and kitchen area provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect with family we hadn’t seen for a long time. The hosts were responsive and so gracious. We loved the outdoor patio/ deck space as well as enjoying time by the fire. The amenities are everything you would need or want. We are all looking forward to returning next year and staying longer!

We loved our stay! We had 6 families staying with young kids. Each family had a bedroom and we had plenty of room. The whole property was so well kept. We all agreed we would love to come back again. We spent time fishing on the pontoon, playing on the swing set, going for walks, and enjoying meals around the table. The hosts were quick to respond and very friendly. 😊

We had an amazing week in this perfect house on the lake outside Alexandria. We are a group of 6 women friends who vacation every year together and this house finally had enough bedrooms (6) and bathrooms (3) for all of us to be happy. (One of the twin beds needs a little something which Carolyn happily agreed to address for our return next year) because we are definitely coming back!
The lake is quiet, great for us to use the pontoon for boating and swimming. Kitchen well equipped for all the meals we cooked together. The hosts are very responsive and easy to work with. Our group definitely recommends this house.

Our family ranging in ages from 3-84 enjoyed our recent stay at The Haven. The Haven is a beautiful house and grounds and provided everything we needed. It had spacious bedrooms and lots of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked. The pontoon and paddle boats were bonuses that we could use whenever we wanted. This is a beautiful property. Clean, comfortable and absolutely serene. We had kids ranging from 3-8. Everyone had a blast fishing and swimming. The top level of the home was completely accessible for my MIL who is in a wheelchair. Alexandria had cute shops, restaurants and breweries.

We spent a week in this beautiful home on Lake Louise. The owners communicated well and made sure everything was read for our arrival. The pontoon that comes with the house was fun to take out for sunset cruises. You will not regret choosing this home for your stay.

My friends and I spent a weekend here to celebrate a birthday and it was the perfect space for that. Lots of rooms, lots of bathrooms, and the giant deck is amazing. The only downside was we were hoping to have access to the pontoon but it wasn’t ready yet. Otherwise such an excellent stay

The house is BEAUTIFUL and SO spacious for our large family Christmas in January. There was plenty of room for the littles to play and for the adults to visit. The HUGE table was large enough for all 17 of us and also offered ample room for a few different games to go on at the same time which made for more time with us all together.
We had a photographer over to take family pictures and the house was great for that also. The fireplace provided an awesome backdrop and if it had been summer, the property would have given us SO many options for gorgeous pictures.
The communication with the host was nothing short of SPECTACULAR!! SO friendly and helpful! They even left the Christmas tree up into January for us!!
We will do our best to come back to The Haven, but I am sure it will always book up quickly! GRAB IT UP IF YOU GET A CHANCE!! You will NOT be disappointed!!

The 12 adults enjoyed what the home offered. Open area, plenty of bathrooms, close to the lake, comfortable furniture and beds. Plenty of room for our food products. The winter weather allowed for a good lake walk. The Carlos winery is about two miles away and we enjoyed it. Everyone enjoyed their time at this house. The owner was very helpful.

Attention to detail was found from the kitchen to the bedrooms and the outstanding outdoor areas. We are returning but are struggling to find consensus as to which property to choose.

We had our family of 15 with age range of 3 months to 87 years. The home provided everything we would have hoped for. It was beautifully remodeled with new kitchen cabinets and the layout was perfect. There were enough beds and baths and plenty of room to accommodate everyone. The owner came by to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We could have stayed at the property for our full stay, but also went to Zorbaz, Carlos Creek Winery (and brewery) and also Copper Trail Brewing to see some of the area. The pontoon, paddle boat, and rental equipment was also an added bonus.

This was the perfect place for my families vacation - we had ages from 1 to 80 and there was something for everyone! We loved the layout of the home plenty of space for us to spread out as well as great common areas. The owners were amazing - from greeting us upon arriving, to showing us around with a tour, to being available for any questions - so responsive!!! A Rea Gem
We spent a very enjoyable week at this meticulously clean home that provided everything we needed to keep our family of 13 occupied and comfortable. The younger children swam non-stop, thanks to the weed remover next to the dock and the rented lilypad, while the older people took advantage of the other rented equipment, along with the paddleboat and pontoon. We appreciated Carolyn's accessibility by phone when we had a couple questions, and also when Judy brought over her own blender to replace the unusable one, as well as loaning us a tea kettle. The entire property was stocked with all the supplies and equipment we could ever need. We loved our stay and recommend it without hesitation. Thank you!

Lake Louise was a small and quiet lake that was perfect for our family. The home was good for our large family age ranges from 2 - 68. I would recommend this home to anyone with a large family. The owners very accommodating to everything we needed.
