The beds and pillows are little hard.

The staff was super attentive, and the location was beautiful albeit a bit of a hassle getting out of the hotel (whereas out of the island or just wandering in the south part of the island as well required a ride on a boat). The grounds of the hotel were really nice. We got a free upgrade for our honeymoon and cake.

Breakfast, location

Aggressive male staff requesting tips all the time. There is a 12.5% service charge on everything and then your expected to tip all the staff.. Also didn't like musician's coming to the table and expecting tips. Does Movenpick pay for the entertainment or are guests expected to pay? Not what you expect in a 5 star hotel. I felt the housing of the turtles was cruel.. concrete pond and nothing else for them.

Tyssir was an amazing staff member, she helped us so much for many things, like finding a good hospital, and suggesting things to do.

I have no complaints.

We had a great room looking out over the swimming pool and Nile river. Staff was very attentive and helpful. In this hotel you are not a number, the staff know their guests by name. Ms. Esraa from guest relations organized a wonderfull romantic dinner for us in one of their specious suites looking out at the sunset and tombes of the nobles. A big thank you to all staff in this lovely and quiet hotel.

Socialising was a bit of a challenge as the hotel did not have a lot of occupancy but that must have been because its low season. This is the hottest time of the year with temperatures nearing 50 degrees celcius.

The location, breakfast and staff

The location is really beautiful. The short boat ride to the hotel makes this a truly exceptional experience, disconnected from the city, in the water.

Almost nothing. The security check at the entrance is probably necessary, however, the only dissonant that I experienced

Room & Food low Quality

I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the ferry (Hotel in Elephantine lsland ) and was impressed by the hotel's stunning decor. My room was spacious and beautifully designed with a balcony that provided a breathtaking view of the Nile River. The amenities were top-notch and everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and the comfortable bed which provided me with a great night's sleep. I would like to extend a special thank you to the manager Wael Farouk. He went out of his way to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and stress-free. I was particularly impressed by his attention to detail and his willingness to accommodate my every need. His efforts did not go unnoticed and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in a beautiful location. - Communications re travel to and from the hotel were awful - The panorama restaurant was bad - Jacuzzi broken

A lovely hotel in an ideal location on an island, easily reach by the hotel's regular ferry service 24/7. Excellent room facing the tombs (lit up at night). Enjoyed the pool greatly. Coffee shop fine, Mezze restaurant not entirerly to our taste, but Elephantine Restaurant offers a really delicious dinner buffet. Breakfasts excellent too.

Lounge restaurant was perfectly okay, but I'd have liked a wider selection of western food, and a fan in the exterior area.

Great place to relax after visiting the sights of Aswan. Friendly and considerate staff. Nice food. Lovely and clean pool. Fast internet. It’s really a nice hotel to stay!

my 3 kids got really sick after eating at the hotel restaurant (we haven’t eaten outside the hotel at all), most likely after drinking fruit juices (mango and lemon) as it is what we adults didn’t drink and we’re fine :(

Price for hotel is very high, kids club is closed and dirty. Noone cares about it
