Clean comfortable everything we needed in the kitchen. Very warm double glazing excellent couldn't here any put side noise 😀 👍

Great Location for a groups, plenty of parking, also outdoor and indoor space is great for socialising. 10 min walk to the local brewery though the field lane or a quick taxi into the city. BBQ facilities supplied and had just been scrubbed up by the lads! Thanks for a great stay!

Couldn't get the oven working but didn't really need it so didn't try too hard. Hot tubs didn't work in the day time, only at night.

Great location, clean, well presented and everything you'd need for a stay. On site staff very friendly. 10 mins from Grimston Bar park and ride, to give easy access into York. Would stay again.

It was okay to stay in but WiFi didn’t work! The loft window didn’t shut properly so was a cold draft coming in and payed all that money to not get a hot tub thought all cottages where provided with one

Great location, very clean, big enough for big parties, loved the hot tubs as did the rest of my party. Well stocked with crockery and things needed.

Only thing was the drains smelled a bit

The cottage was spacious, comfortable and had good access to York - esp enjoyed the view of the Minster. Great pathways to walk to get out into nature too. The rooms were fairly spacious, the kitchen and communal areas were comfy. When it got cold a few nights whilst we were there, it was easy to follow the instructions to switch on the heating, and there was always hot water too. (Appreciated the Kitchen roll and cling film :o) Having a maintenance chap available helped sort any issues, pretty much immediately after arriving. Also having a large crowd of people in the other cottages did not encroach on the time we spent at the cottage, ease of access or increase the noise levels, which is much appreciated.

Didn't realise it was so close to the A- road, but it wasn't too noisy when doors and windows were shut, only worse when the road was backed up or at high traffic times. The only gripe is the size of the shower, even though I am only 5ft4 (11st) even I kept bashing my arms and elbows whilst using this tiny shower, other family members were taller

Secluded location. Although near very busy road we were set back - children could play out safely.

Perhaps a small play area in the field for children would be a good idea.

Booked cottages. 3,4 and 5 for 15 of us for a hen do. Location was great , very easy to find. All well equipped. We liked that cottage 4 was big enough for the group to socialise together with the outside space a bonus. Would definitely book again if visiting york. Communication was excellent with staff very helpful.

Very little , it was exactly what we needed. A couple of suggestions for improvement for cottage 4 that would make it a 10 would be mirrors in the bedrooms and the addition of an upstairs toilet.

The accommodation was excellent which I have reviewed on google. There was plenty of room for all occupants and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Excellent amenities, it was exactly home from home.

Maybe more information regarding what's on in the area as we hadn't been to the area before. My only criticism was the bathroom door which stuck and my 12 year old got stuck in the room. (cottage 5)

Suited our needs perfectly - we stayed in 2 cottages for our family holiday which needed to cater for a wide range of age groups. Great location, close to York, facilities were convenient and clean, and staff were helpful and friendly. We had a great time, thank you 😊

Loved the hot tubs and the outside patio area. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of space.

It was easy to find and great space to park by Cottage

Nothing it was clean and spacious and the hot in was lovely - fast road nearby a little noisy but didn’t disturb me
