The breakfast was good.

I booked a family room to share with a friend, but upon arrival, we were informed that the room had been changed to a regular room with two single beds pushed together. This situation forced us to separate the beds, and to make matters worse, the bedding was not clean. It was quite disappointing, and we had to resort to using our own sleeping bags that we had brought for our desert trip.

Ideal stopover for a tourist or group. Caters to the basic needs in a clean and comfortable environment. The restaurant has decent cuisine and the breakfast is great.

Not ideal for business travelers. No wifi in the rooms and also lacking a well lit desk area. The numbers on the website also doesnt work so one has no way of reaching the hotel to discuss arrival time etc.

talking about spotless. you cannot keep a hotel cleaner and more well maintained than bahnhof aus. it’s a miracle in the middle of nowhere. everything is polished. the food is amazing. the linen is crisp. the gravel is raced. (!) just come here!

The staff at this place are amazing 👏👏 They can not do enough for you and are absolutely charming. Little extra touches like welcome iced tea are much appreciated. The hotel is very well located for trips to Luderitz and is well presented, comfortable, and quite classy. It has secure parking and ground floor rooms and a very nice veranda for drinks or meals or both. We had dinner and a nice bottle of wine as well as cold drinks on arrival, and the breakfast is included in the rack rate. The breakfast was excellent.

In all honesty, the pasta dinner was a little disappointing. The ravioli was a bit hard and not enough of it for the amount of sauce, but I am being a bit picky. The wine was delicious, as was the coffee and cake.

Such a beautiful hotel and a great atmosphere! The staff is super friendly and everything about the hotel is great! A real gem :)

WiFi could be improved

The restaurant, the bar and the public areas of the hotel are very well-kept and neat with lots of wonderful details all around. For sure one of the nicest places in whole Namibia. Beautiful flowers and palms next to the hotel along the street in front of the house and in the courtyard. Just to see and experience this beautiful installations justifies a stop. Kind and friendly waiters at the restaurant. Tasty food for dinner and breakfast. Delicious coffee. The hotel rooms are large.

The detailed and beautiful the hotel is, the rather scarcely furnitured and equipped the rooms are. No fridge. Check-in and welcome by the duty manager was - in absence of a better word - awkward.

Good clean basic accommodation in a perfect location when travelling between Fish river canyon & Sossusvlei. Evening meal was good. The staff were excellent
