Room was comfortable and clean.

Public areas very tired and tatty. Breakfast was poor. Not great quality food and it was a bit of a scrum to get anything.

Ligging lekker rustig buiten het centrum met goede busverbinding. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijtruimte werd goed schoon gehouden en bijgevuld. Kamer in orde met goede douche. Parkeren gratis.

Breakfast was ok, the location was good for us not to far to the cruise terminal.

Staff were excellent and hotel facilities were what I expected.

On each of my previous visits the hotel door key fail at least once on each visit. (This was not due to the keys (2 each time) being near a magnetic force, phone etc) Pets and owners walking round the food service area with owners stroking pets then handling utensils.

Easy to find your way around and food was good

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and clean room. Evening meal was very nice. Reasonable price. Breakfast had a great choice. Coffee was lovely.

Stayed for work with a colleague. After a long drive down it was good to head over to Beafy's at the cricket ground (just over the road, and in a good location). Staff at the hotel were friendly, it was a straight forward stay - check-in and check-out. No surprises.

The carpark was full when we arrived, therefore we had to park over the road in what seemed an unsecured carpark (used for the cricket event parking). It was a short walk away from the hotel - not an issue for me but could have been if you was less mobile.

The mattress dipped on the edge of the bed so when you rolled over you nearly fell off. The tv had lines down it from previous damage. Staff was notified on departure

Breakfast fine and adequate for our needs

We stayed here for one night before heading off on a cruise. I also wanted to do Itchen Valley Park run and this was a really convenient location for both. Check in was quick and easy, and we were lucky to get a room just off reception on the ground floor so didn’t have to walk far. The room was clean and comfortable and well equipped with all the usual things. You could ask for more tea coffee from reception which we did. Breakfast was the standard help yourself affair and no complaints from us. Staff were friendly and helpful in what was clearly a very busy hotel. I like the fact they put takeaway cups and “grab and go” bags out for breakfast if you were in hurry and needed to eat on the move.

Parking was very difficult when we arrived. We drove around the car park a few times before eventually chancing on a tiny space in a flooded corner. When we were checking in many others complained about the parking - they were told to just leave the car anywhere near the entrance , check in and then there was overflow or additional parking somewhere but none of that was obvious or apparent when you first arrived. Only other problem was that only one coffee machine was functioning at breakfast which caused queues - albeit we went right at the end of the serving when most people had left.

Good location for the cruise terminal. Parking was good and breakfast plentiful.

Couldn't find any preserves for the toast, but we coped!

Reception was manned by good staff who seemed to care.

The room was the noisiest I have ever stayed in. Sleep was very little as I knew when the rooms around me went to the toilet and what was on the television in the other rooms. This was potentially dangerous as I had a 150 mile drive in the morning. I will not be returning.

We stayed overnight as we were going on a cruise the next day the hotel fulfilled our needs.

Although no fault of the hotel, we didn’t enjoy our dinner as there were too many children there. They were mostly going or been to Peppa Pig. We would choose a different location next time.

Clean room with all necessary facilities for a short stay. Breakfast ran till 10am on the Saturday which meant we could go out first thing Saturday morning and get back in time to eat. Still food available at 10am.

No separate lounge area, was a bit lacking in atmosphere for an evening drink. Breakfast choice was limited, more fresh fruit would have been good.

The staff at this hotel are amazing and go above and beyond to help in any way they can. All staff were happy to assist and answer any questions. Location was great. The hotel was one of the cleanest I ve stayed in.
