Set in beautiful relaxing grounds. This guest house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The price was great, the staff friendly, the rooms lovely and clean, great views of the sea and pier from the terrace, the bed was one of those you just don't want to get out of and the breakfast was really good.

If I HAD to pick something I didn't like it would be the times of breakfast. Last breakfast was 9.30 and you have to leave your room for 10.45 which to me felt rushed. I either had to get up at 8 (which I did) in order to have a shower before breakfast or I could have had a bit of a lie in, ate breakfast and had no shower because I want to enjoy breakfast and not throw it down my throat. To me when your paying quite a bit of money and staying away from home for a little treat then surely 12 would be a more realistic time to vacate your room. Then you could have your bit of a lie in, have your breakfast shower then leave and not feel rushed. I actually got home and was tired rather than refreshed. Men might see this differently. Also there was nowhere to park apart from a 10 minute walk away in which I had to then carry my bags to the house and up the steps. Plus I didn't like the fact my new car was parked out of sight over night.

The breakfast was cooked to order ,plentiful and very tasty ,there was a large selection on offer from cereals and yogurt and fruit to the full English and a fresh pot of tea to match.. The room was extremely comfortable well laid out and very clean indeed. What can we say about the view from our room ,absolutely stunning ,so much so that we sat in our chairs in the room watching the world go by for about 3 or 4 hours ,the weather was beautiful and sunny which made it even more enjoyable.

The only issue for us the the guest house is up on high and therefore there are ramps and steps to climb into the guest house. However ,the hosts were very helpful and allowed my wife to go through the dining area on a lower level to a lift up to our room to save her climbing the steps ,they also allowed us to leave her wheelchair downstairs too.
