Breakfast good, room did the job but small. Could hear a bit going on around you.

Everyone very welcoming, room clean, food great, couldn't fault it. Very close to town centre and sea front, hotel very spacious, and has a lift to all floors so perfect for people who are unable to use stairs like myself.

There wasn't anything.

Everything was really great. But the lift was small and my wife is in a wheel chair but its bigger than a normal wheelchair so we had to fold it up and take two trips to room. But it did not spoil the enjoyment of staying at the Mondoon. Also the staff where friendly and polite.

I thought the room would have been bigger. I paid for a superior room but was disappointed in the size of it. I understand the hotel is an old building and expect noises due to the age of the place but the floorboards in the room were very creaky! There was an issue with the water at the property due to water board doing works. Tried to fill up the bath but the hot water was only trickling out and was discoloured so gave that a miss. Cold water was very cloudy. Couldn’t even make a brew. Left the tap running for 5 minutes then managed to get a kettle full of clear water. This wasn’t the fault of the hotel but it certainly didn’t make our stay a good one.

Beautiful and well kept, clean with good parking

Sounds petty, but there were both Granola and croissants on the breakfast menu but both mornings they had run out, so had to miss out on something I was looking forward to, plus no Buscuits in the room which I always find a nice gesture.

Good Location

Poor parking, unfriendly greeting /staff (All very grumpy and short!) and general professional conduct, Needs a refit in some areas, a management overhaul and several areas requiring changes to make it a place where People enjoy the stay and want to return..

The buffet breakfast choice was fresh and ample x the full English was impressively broad for choice and perfectly cooked. The location was preferred to seafront.

Everything about the Dunoon is excellent! This is a hotel where the public rooms are traditional and quality. Bedrooms are bathrooms are contemporary. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast quality and choice, superb!

Very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast, quality produce.

Water pressure to the shower and sink taps was very slow as in the roof of the hotel, difficult to have a shower.
