Clean overall. Bed comfortable.

Balcony floor dirty with aircon of next room dripping over floor. Shower attachment rail way too low and it leaked causing potential electrical problems with water heater right by it. Flaky paint on ceiling and stairway to room dank. Fake grass on steps etc dirty.

The location good not far from mui wo pier. But the room is dirty. The floor,the sink,the electric water boil,the fridge. We know its cheap hotel so dont expect too much but atleast clean the room !!!! And so noisy from other room. Lucky we come on CNY holiday so the restaurant downstair is closed. (Not too noisy).

The location of the hostel is close to the town center, convenient for touring.

Cleanliness and facilities were bad - there was no hot water, and the hair dryer was broken in my room. You can see used toiletries packaging laying around the bathroom, and the toilet was clearly not cleaned before check-in. The bed and pillow covers were pretty unclean.

The location itself is good in that it is in a central location, but it is also bad because it is extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night. The hotel is also located down some dirty alleyway.

FThe members of staff lied about the price of our two dogs. On the phone they said $200 for a big dog and $100 for a small dog, but the price was actually $450. Therefore, it was more expensive for two dogs than what it was for booking the room which was $352.80. We also called the reception before checking out and they once again reiterated that it was $300. Then when we asked them in the reception about it they said "it's $450 because we need to see the size of the dog". Also, the hotel is extremely dirty and noisy at all hours of the day. I also imagine that it is more comfortable to sleep on the floor than their bed.

There're people making huge noise at 0550 in the morning, not sure if they're patrons of the restaurant or restaurant staff.

It’s small, old. May be it’s my expectation, I thought it’s a hotel.

Nothing much to like.

First of all, 3 days before we went to the place we called about the payment and the staff was really rude. When we arrived on 18th, and the door knob was VERY difficult to turn and open the door, they do have wifi, but it’s so slow that it can’t even refresh a page, it’s basically pointless.The bathroom drain gets full and the water just floods. Secondly, there was someone drilling in the next room until 10pm and it was very loud, even though this place specifically mentioned that in one of their facilities that the rooms have “soundproofing” also below is a restaurant and is usually loud. Lastly, they have mentioned a lot of facilities that are supposed to be available, but most of them weren’t even there.

The check in was quick.

It was dirty, tatty, stinky, a lot of mosquitoes in the room and the balcony door was not secured.

Low price. Good location.

Location is only 5-10min walk to the Mui Wo ferry and the town centre.

I asked if I could get a cold water when checking in, simple reply was "no". Also there is a decorated tricycle outside the hotel. I asked if someone could take me and luggage in it to the ferry, simple reply was "no". It was not an English issue, she spoke fine. It was a 'we don't do customer service' issue. For the price, it is okay.

Easy to get to and easy to communicate with previously, had no problem with us arriving later than expected (around 8pm). Good for a quick one night stay

Was quite loud all through the night but in small villages sound carries more than in the city

Location was ok - we rented a tricycle to get around. Room size is good.

Noise: hammering at 7:30 in the morning - we tried to call to complain but of course nobody answered the phone. I wonder what happens if there is an emergency as it seems the reception is very lax. Bathroom very moldy Cleanliness: we stayed for 3 nights and not once were offered any cleaning, nobody changed the rubbish, no offer of fresh towels or replacement of toilet paper, no option for the room to be cleaned and no supply of even a simple broom in the room - of course we (and most people) will be going to the beach so the floors were sandy and very dusty after the first day - and pretty gross after the 3rd night Cost: the fee for this room was very high considering the lack of any REAL hotel/guest house services. Correspondence/customer service: I booked through booking.com but had some questions for the hotel that the responses on booking.com did not cover. The Booking.com customer service told me to contact the hotel. I emailed the hotel 4 times but NEVER got a response.
