The location was good. We had hot water. We enjoyed the pool and the pool bar

The water went all over the floor while showering unless you kept the pressure very low. We had to beg for clean towels. Never got them until almost dinner time. I actually took a shower with no towel because we had a dinner reservation. When we asked they said they would be there in a few minutes and that didn’t happen. The bed was very hard. We also had dirty water tossed on our heads from the maid while she was cleaning a room. She threw it over the 3rd floor balcony and never looked below.

This was the least favorite of the properties that we stayed at, on this trip to Mexico. The bar is loud until late. The beds were broken. The bathroom was not cleaned - the metal on the boats in the harbor are cleaner than this bathroom was. I walked into the room one afternoon and there was a male staff member standing in our room watching TV. We did not ever turn the TV on, nor did we complain about the TV.

location is great. it’s a little bit quieter than other hotels if that’s something you’re looking for. it’s directly across from the less busier beach which is nice.

When we got to our room, the sheets were never changed from the people before us. There were stains on the sheets and blankets and sand in between the sheets as well. They changed the bedding only once throughout our 6 night stay. The bathroom was horrible. The shower drain was clogged which caused the floors to be covered in water every time we showered. There was also barely any hot water. The pool was not cleaned once whatsoever during our stay. It was absolutely disgusting. The restaurant affiliated with the hotel is awful. The food had no flavor at all and made us all sick.

The hotel is close to the beach

Upon arrival we received a room at the northern building which was very old and dirty. The shower drainage and toilets weren’t working properly. they had a safe in the room but in order to use it we were asked to leave a $50 dollar deposit in the front desk to get a key. we ended up “upgrading a room” in the other renovated buildings for an additional 200 pesos per night . however, the room was far from an “upgrade”. we did have an electronic safe but the floor was oily and dirty. the curtains were infested with mold (so was the shower) and the bed was uncomfortable (also, the bedcovers were dirty and had peculiar stains on them). My partner ended up with a rash and suspicious bug bites. on our second day there was no hot water in the shower and it took them about 2 hours to fix. on the positive side, the hotel is right access from the central beach which is a lovely alternative to the more busy north beach (playa Norte). the hotel has a designated space for beach beds for hotel’s guests use. that said, this pleasure comes with a fee of 250 pesos for 2 beach beds and an umbrella. this should be complementary especially when considering the hotel room and other facilities.

Nice hotel and restaurant. One of the best breakfast in town.

We had water problems a few time during our stay. Sometimes none at all.

Great location

The rooms were ok but somewhat rundown. No elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. We are all over 70 so that was quite the trek. The hotel could be really nice but it looked like it hadn't been maintained very well.

The hotel smells like mold and there was lots of black mold in the ceiling. We changed rooms twice, but ended up in the first room as the options just kept getting worse. There is no sound isolation, the beds are so hard that it feels like you’re sleeping on the floor and the bed sheets, blankets and curtains have probably not been cleaned since mid 80s. There’s just a half wall between the bedroom and the bathroom, which means no privacy. There is no hot water, so be prepared for a cold shower. The Wi-Fi works sometimes, maybe a couple of hours per day if you’re lucky. We changed hotel after two nights.

CLOSE TO MOST EVERYTHING WE WANTED. THE BEACH, RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING.

THE POOL WAS TO COLD. THINGS IN THE ROOM REQUIRED REPAIR , BUT IT WAS APPARENT THAT GIVING THEM A LIST WOULD FALL ON DEAF EARS. HAVING SAID THAT THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY BUT WHEN I MADE SEVERAL REQUESTS TO THREE DIFFERENT STAFF PERSONNEL THEY ALL SAID THE SAME THING “ I WILL HAVE SOMEONE COME TO YOUR ROOM AND HELP YOU. THEY ALL KNEW MY CONCERNS BUT NOBODY EVER CAME OR CALLED.
