Hotel is situated in a lovely part of North London, easy to get to by car. Lovely little front garden to eat your breakfast on, car parking on the premises. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed the stay and the negative comments I have made below mainly reflect the area and not the hotel itself.

Personally, I found the beds to be too hard, I really didn't sleep well at all, but that may be just my preference. Room was tiny, as was the bathroom which got claustrophobic quickly. Travelling wasn't straightforward - buses are great and easy but tube stop is a good 15 minute walk away and do bear in mind that because its North London, you have to travel quite a long way down the line for any changeovers if you want to travel east to west or vice versa. Either that or get the overground which is time consuming. It took me 2 hours to get from Muswell Hill to Tottenham.

My bed was too small and the room was cramped. The whole place could do with some refurbishment. But it's a place that I have stayed in a few times and keep coming back to. Figure that!

Walls are quite thin. Could hear a couple making out loudly during the night … was not pleased

Very helpful, friendly staff arranged for convenient parking. Family room was clean, included coffee/tea making facilities and had a fridge. The location was great. Very close to Alexandra Palace and to bus and tube services to the city.

Though the photographs showed a dining room at the hotel, breakfast wasn't 'in house' but in a small, convenient cafe where the £11 'Full English' was very good and the coffee superb.

Shabby, very out of date decor, furnishings etc. Climbed to top of building with heavy suitcase. Didn’t feel comfort on my own.

The decor needs updating, very old fashioned but comfortable.

Room was acceptable but coffee/cookies were not renewed each day. Lots of facilities nearby. Bus, tube transport good.

Sign in the shower said beware, very hot water. NOT. Barely made it to warm. Early morning, late night, mid-afternoon made no difference.
