for a motel there should have been a washing machine and dryer in the units

really spectacular view and well designed accommodations. solid appliances and really nice beds.

the internet service was almost unusable. constantly kicking off. Main TV picture not working.

The location was very nice and the view from the motel. One needs a car to get to town if not willing to walk for about 20-30 min. Everything was very clean, Wifi worked well. Reception was friendly.

There was an open package of milk in the fridge.

Dusty. Fridge very iced up and leaked over everything. No decent outdoor furniture. Glassware very dirty. Need to put finish in dishwasher. Very expensive.

Lovely view out over the lake and across to Fiordland. The apartment was lovely and big with two very spacious bedrooms and with everything I could need. Easy 3 minute drive into town. Would definitely stay here again.

The tiny rough towels, cheap toilet paper and budget toiletries are not consistent with advertising for a 5 star property. The caravan park amenity offerings shouldn’t be used in this component of the facility. The finishing touches do need more careful consideration.

Great location overlooking the lake. The room was a great size with two separate bedrooms and lounge with equipped kitchen. Would be great for a family wanting to base here for a few nights and explore the area.

Booked two rooms for our group. One room had no towels, and the guys didn't realise until late when they went to have showers so made do with using the bathmat and hand towel to dry themselves. I spoke directly to housekeeping the next day and was told they'd put towels in the room. We were out all day and had exactly the same scenario the second night - no towels and the guys having to use the bathmat etc. If you plan on staying here then allow for time to check that your room is equipped with the basics, plus time to ask more than once to get anything that's missing.
