The home was serviceable for our short stay. However the pictures and descriptions are somewhat misleading. Many doors don’t function properly and/or need the latches replaced. Lightbulbs were missing, bathrooms show signs of water damage and the unit is generally in poor condition. The management was communicative and check in/out was seamless the home is in a good location relative to restaurants, the airport and UAB.

Old house that needs substantial work. . .creaky staircase, cracked/broken concrete steps leading up to house, lamps and light fixtures with no lightbulbs creates very limited lighting. Be prepared to sign a lease agreement at the 11th hour or you won't be able to stay. Definitely not worth the price.

The space was large but needed love. Do not expect anything extra. Broken handles, stains, marks on the wall, etc. it was enough space for our large group and the back patio was great though!

Good location near all spots you’d want to see in and around Birmingham. Good host with clear instructions and communication. The listing accurately depicted the home. Lots of comfortable sleeping spaces. Home sits off a main road, so there is some road noise on weekends. Street parking felt secure. Note: neither the outdoor stairs nor the inside staircase had handrails - not typically a problem but be advised if you have older adults in your group.

Property was good as advertised. No surprises. Only issue was not with this property or this owner the issue I had was with VRBO, we booked a property in Hoover, AL only to have them cancel it a few weeks before our trip. This property was great, VRBO not so much.

We had a multigenerational group and the property laid out perfectly for us. Everyone had ample space, the property was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect for us.

The property was spacious, clean and in walking distance to many restaurants. The area was in a beautiful, safe, historical district close to downtown. The host was quick to respond and provide information. We would definitely stay again .

Great Southern Home
Two adults and two teens were in town for a baseball tournament and the house was fantastic. Walking distance to restaurants, 10 min drive to the airport and close to highway to get where we needed to go. The house was equipped with the proper amenities and the AC works great. East street parking. Older home with great charm.

Convenient location for our golf trip
We chose Birmingham as a hub for a long RTJ golf weekend. The location worked great. Home is as advertised in description and pictures. Management is responsive and helpful. It is close to the downtown scene so you can hear music at night but it’s not crazy loud. The only thing lacking that we find basic in all other rentals we have had over the years are things like bath soaps, body wash, shampoo which was a bit of surprise when we arrived late from a round of golf.

Great place to stay in Birmingham
Really enjoyed this house and recommend it for larger groups staying in Birmingham. Great older home in very convenient location. All mattresses were new and slept great. House was clean with all the things that you'll need for your group to stay and really enjoy your time there. Highly recommend this house and hope that we can stay there again!
