Great location - within 10 minute walk to centre of York. Lovely house in quiet residential area - spacious modern kitchen leading out to back garden. Master bedroom was really nice and quirky little attic bedroom ensured a great sleep!

The property and the location are both perfect for a stay in York. We walked everywhere then settled in for quiet comfy nights back at the property. The house is very well appointed and updated. Very, very pleased.

We liked everything. Soap for the shower and tissues would have been a plus, but these and more were easily found at the market just down the street.

The property is lovely, clean & spacious with everything you need. Great location, near to shops and the train station but located on a quiet street just far enough away from the busy centre of York. Would recommend & would definitely book again.

Extra car needed a parking permit and extra cost

Warm and comfortable house. Well furnished, with small separate sitting room with TV. Large dining space and large kitchen with good facilities. The first floor bedrooms and bathroom were a good size and very comfortable.

The top floor double bedroom was very cramped and only really suitable for one person. The second person had to crawl into bed as one side was under the eaves. The ensuite shower was ok but the washbasin was tiny and not suitable for anything other than wetting hands.

The house is beautiful in a great location for exploring.

We were cold and found the heating system confusing.

Fresh, modern decor, immaculately clean, with great bathrooms. A pleasure to arrive at. Nice layout for a family, and the parking was easy with the permit provided. Instructions for the property were clear and not too complicated. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of tea, coffee and towels were supplied. The location is perfect - a 10 minute nice walk across the bridge, near to the railway station. It exceeded our expectations. There was good flexibility about our arrival time as we were driving from far away on a Friday.

These are really minor points only, as the property itself is great. The directions could have been clearer. The property is on a street next to one with a similar name (e.g. xxx Road and xxx Crescent). What would have been better is to explain that you get to the main road and if you continue straight ahead, the road name changes, and that's the street where the property is located. An extra door key and a front door mat would have been useful, as we were conscious about bringing dirt into the hall on our shoes.

Great location, near the town center. also we appreciated the updated features, the bright kitchen, the cleanliness and the comfort of this house.

very clean, great amenities in a very quiet location

Beautiful 3 storey terraced house on a quiet street and a stone’s throw from the station and the city centre. There was a parking permit allowing 1 car to be parked close by. The house is light and airy throughout, with a modern kitchen extension, a comfy sitting room and 3 good sized bedrooms, one of which had an en-suite shower room. The house was spotless and was well equipped with tea, coffee, toilet rolls, etc.

The sink in the main bathroom was very modern in style but not very practical - the water did not drain very quickly and was easily splashed over the edge and onto the floor. There was not a lot of space in the bathroom to conveniently store toiletries, other than a large cupboard. Some shelves or a bathroom cabinet above the sink would have been useful. Similarly there was nowhere in the shower to place shampoo bottles etc, just the floor.

Clean. Quiet. Kitchen had everything in we needed. Clothes washer was a nice plus.

No option for luggage storage - if checking an checkout times did not quite work. Hard to get a taxi for pickup at the residence. Sink in main bathroom had drainage problems.

the space and facilities available in the house

The decor was very tasteful. The kitchen and the main bathroom were exceptional.

. There were no hooks downstairs to hang coats and jackets. We had only one set of towels to last all week we had to request another set. The top bedroom hadn't been thoroughly dusted and rubbish was left in some drawers.

The house was perfect. Location perfect.

House was a little expensive. But you get what you pay for. The bond money put me on edge. Moved everything thing breakable as I'm clumsy.

Comfortable, clean and well positioned. The road was very quiet. Very nicely appointed garden furniture. Very comfortable beds. Clear heating controls, lovely underfloor heating in kitchen. Very easy to get to interesting places in York by foot.

There could be more cutlery and crockery. The dishwasher had to be run half empty as there were so few plates and mugs etc ( plenty of wine glasses!,). No kitchen paper. Bedrooms need a chair in them. No instructions for recycling, hard to know where to put different items. We think the basin in the larger bathroom leaked a bit at the back. No salt and pepper.

Absolutely stunning house in an excellent location, staff were SO fast to message us with our queries, they can only offer one parking permit due to council restrictions, but they were so helpful in finding other options for the other car. 10 minutes away from literally everything we wanted to do. Absolutely fantastic stay.

I can't name anything if I'm being honest, if you push me for an answer I'll say the top floor has a window in the roof which is beautiful, but it was a bit loud to sleep in there with the rain, and the fact they couldn't offer more than one parking space was a shame but I wouldn't hold that against them as it's obviously not their fault.
