Cooker wouldn’t work, tv didn’t work, was left outside the build 3 days in a row had my card charged 3 times.

It was quiet

The room was not clean, hairs in the bathroom. The biggest issue was the stench in the room & the bedding was inadequate. Also lamp & radiator worked however had broken plastic. The gym was also closed due to a leak, although I was allowed to use when I asked after I expressed my disappointment at it being closed.

The kitchen had all the necessary utensils. The room was spacious. The location and view from the window was good.

I stayed there for 12 nights and nobody cleaned the room during my stay.

So I've booked a stay for 2 family members from 27th July-1st August at ''Modern and Comfy Studios at Corporation Village in Coventry''. The property communicated no issues with the payment or the booking and gave us instructions to follow when we got there. The day comes I pick them up from the airport and bring them to the booked accommodation. Since it was after hours check-in we were instructed to call and check-in with a security guard. That's fine so far. It all goes downhill from here: 1st - Security Guard has no idea he's expecting anyone. 2nd - He says the building has been booked from booking.com by everyone who booked in the last few weeks. 3rd - We booked over a month before so supposedly we wouldn't be included in those ''overbooked'' 4th - He says the company has another building with the style rooms really close by. Since my family is in a new country with nowhere to sleep we had no choice but to follow this man at 10 PM to a ''new location'' We come to this building and he gives a card to open the room and gives us instructions to go to it. 5th - We get to the room and it's nothing like the ''Superior Studio'' we paid for. 6th - There were some issues with not having any hot water, so we went to this building's reception and there was no one there. The lights weren't even on! 7th - We had to go back to the original building we supposedly booked for to talk with someone who would fix the problem and notify us. 8th - No notification didn't fix the issue... 9th - According to the booking.com instructions we were supposed to leave the keycard at reception. So we left it in the empty dark reception with no one on it as requested. We didn't get what we paid for. We got worse than the worst possible option available when booking. I Want a refund on my ''Superior Studio'' because we were never provided that...

Decent-sized room, well located and not badly priced.

Because this place is usually student halls it was a bit lacking in some areas. And they forgot to put the majority of the kitchen in that then took a couple of days to appear. The listing mentions things that didn't exist like the TV

Some kitchen facilities were missing, such as glasses and the materials needed to wash the dishes. Besides, the reception man was a little rude, as he did not want to provide us toilet rolls, because we run out of them the day before as well.

Good value for money. Comfortable. Excellent location

No curtains. Expected something to be sorted out ad this was pointed out when i checked in and shown to room. All that happedbed was someone came to door and change the room number from A004 to A001. Also table lamp was not working but wasn't to much of an issue.
