I had a horrific experience of racism and rudeness and dishonesty with the staff. I tried to organise a taxi to midigama and was told a rate of 70 US. On departure I was told the rate had changed to 240 US. The driver was very dishonest and tried to rip me off and insulted my skin colour and made a really offensive comment about my religion and Easter Sunday. I could not believe it and was left in a highly distressed state about my treatment. Upon not accepting the fare I was then offered 110 US. It was like I was dealing with street people and not a 4 star hotel. This is the most shady and worst treatment I have received anywhere in the world.

Breakfast was a buffet with a good selection. Yogurt would be a good addition. The rooms and bathrooms had everything a person needs. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent.

The swimming pool closing at 4pm.

The overall experience, the staff, the breakfast, location and quick attention to our requirements. They created an overall friendly ambience that I enjoyed.

Nothing much except the delay (50 minutes) for check in and room allocation though I reached after check-in time.

Die Zimmer sind neu eingerichtet und man schläft sehr gut auf den Matratzen. Das Frühstück war einheimisch und Englisch mit viel Früchten, Kuchen, Toast und was eben alles noch dazu gehört. Super Auswahl Die Menschen dort sind sensationell lieb und nett und versuchen alles damit es ein schöner Urlaub ist.

Great location, beautiful surroundings and most of all, the most friendliest of staff!! Highly recommend this hotel! Udesh, Imran and Shaheed were 3 key individuals who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay! All 3 gentlemen were extremely helpful and always willing to answer our inquiries. The door staff too, were incredibly friendly with a warm welcome everytime. Our room was clean and roomy fully provided with comfortable towels and bedding. Breakfast was also great, authentic food that was delicious and great value for money. We we’re very pleased with our stay and hope to come back soon! Thank you Hotel MaRadha Colombo!

Almost everything about this hotel is wonderful. Staff were fantastic.

I would have liked a bath tub, but these are not in all rooms. Hotel prices are expensive for breakfast and a beer.

Nice room with a view of the ocean and train tracks. Also had a lovely massage in the spa. I booked a city tour and transfer to Kandy. A little expensive but the driver was very kind.

The noise, I have no idea what they were doing in the room above me but it sounded like they were dragging large furniture across the floor untill all hours. The AC unit also made a racket, so had to choose between the noise or sweating profusely. So if you are a light sleeper then this hotel is not for you. The hot water supply was another issue, cold in the morning and hot in the evening. The staff were also hot and cold, some really friendly and others too busy on their phones. Not even a goodbye or thank you when I settled the bill and left.

It was very comfortable. Pleasant and friendly staff. Tasty food. Good spa. I enjoyed there.

Amazing staff, very helpful, they went above and beyond. Amazing housekeeping, waiters, front desk staff. Great bar/ restaurant upstairs with a cheap happy hour and well priced food.

Замечательный отель, прекрасные, вежливые сотрудники! Очень чисто в номере, новый ремонт, белое, новое постельное белье. Приехали поздно ночью, нас уже ждали сотрудники: встретили у машины, занесли багаж. Заселение прошло быстро и комфортно, номер порадовал очень! А вид на океан из номера и из ресторана просто невероятный! Я бы вернулась сюда снова:)

Понравилось все! Оставались на 1 сутки. Прекрасный отель и отзывчивый персонал, если оставаться в Коломбо семьей, то только здесь. Номер: чистый и свежий, как на фото. Предоставляют бесплатную воду и все необходимое по требованию. Бассейн был свежий, но правда выглядит гораздо меньше, чем на фотографиях. Без проблем договорились о позднем чек-ауте. Множество вариантов где и как поесть с ребенком, в отелях и окрестностях большой выбор кафе, забегаловок и ресторанов. Healing Кофейня на 1 этаже предоставляет интересный вариант завтрака, поэтому необязательно брать завтрак шведский стол, если не фанат плотно есть по утрам. Из рекомендуемых: заглянуть в Barefoot неподалеку.

The hotel was spotless, we were upgraded to a large room with an amazing sea view which was a lovely room. The food was excellent and the roof top bar and restaurant were stunning. The staff were attentive and so friendly, Shame we only had one night

Wonderful hotel, only one criticism was the bed base squeaked every time you moved.

Service was brilliant. Imran at the reception to, the massage therapist to Pradeep the bartender were all brilliant!!!

The healing Cafe music needs to be better. I think it was playing pop music and I expected it to be more calming music.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel. The staff are all so friendly, the rooms are gorgeous and very clean! There is a lovely rooftop pool too. I highly recommend this hotel!

Brandneues, sehr stylisches Hotel. Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nicht sehr groß, daher angenehm persönlich. Vom Meer durch eine Strasse getrennt. Rooftopbar mit kleinem Pool hat eine fantastische Aussicht, speziell die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär.

Liegt ein bischen weit vom Zentrum, ist aber mit Tucktucks kein Thema.

Excellent location right on the beach. We had a room with some ocean views and as we were on the 6 th floor we had very good views to the ocean and city. Big very clean rooms with all the facilities needed. Nothing was too much for the staff in all areas. They went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. It was my husbands birthday while we were there and the staff surprised him with a birthday cake. He felt very spoiled. The food and drinks are very well priced and delicious. Breakfast was also excellent with local and western choices. We always had local breakfast as it was extensive and very good. Thank you to everyone for making our stay special.

Excellent hotel near the beach and main center. Close to Indian restaurants, beaches, railway station. Staff were really good and provided good hospitality (Especially Personal relationship manager). Love to stay again in this hotel, would highly recommend.

Note that only a few rooms have beautiful ocean views. The window of our room looked out onto the back staircase with a smoking room and the roofs of the houses. People walked along this back staircase and looked into our windows. We booked a room for New Year's Eve because of the beautiful view, but we got this. Hotel parking is located on the street around the hotel. On New Year's Eve, a lot of people came to the club in the same building to watch the fireworks and we had no parking space left. The security offered to park our tuk-tuk for us along the road to the coast. But there was no parking there either. Why write that you have parking if you don't?
