The Ritz is a small motel, my room was rather small but very comfortable, proper sized air conditioner doing the job, small, but very clean bathroom new towels every day). There was a small fridge, TV and a safe in the room and even if the bed was not brand new, it sure felt so. The staff was very polite and extremely nice and ready to help. I visited Ottawa and this looked like an inexpensive solution, 10-min drive away from the the Parliament. It turned out to be a very pleasant place too, much more than the 2-star classification. Will definitely return if passing through again. It's the Ritz, after all!

The Staff is approachable and friendly. The room is clean although it was very old.

The room is quite small but clean and there is abundant hot water. The free wifi is fast but the TV reception (if anyone cares about that anymore) was lousy. We would stay here again.

Somehow I reserved for the wrong date and did not catch it. This caused the motel to reserve a room unnecessarily. Though the motel was within their right to charge me for the unused reservation, they did not, thanks to the friendly young gentleman at the office.
I was not looking for amenities, just a clean, functional room at a good price close to Ottawa (by car). This fit the bill and I would be happy to stay there again.

Doesn't smell- which is good. But IF you have just little bit more money, buy something else. This place need A LOT OF LOVE. Will not stay again.

This is a comfortable and affordable place to stay in. It is close to Parliament Hill in Ottawa (6.7Km).
The room and the washroom were clean. It has a mini fridge, air conditioning and a safe box.
This place is located in an area were at night there is a lot of prostitute activity and the noise of cars at night might be an issue

very little space in bathroom, and sewer lid in shower was loose they put a rubber mat on top to prevent toe injury, but it kept water from draining...not very hygienic. Sink tap very loose also. Bathroom door woudn't open completely on my side of bed, problem with level of floor, needed to close it to get to bed. No coffee in room and no microwave, in office only. Refrigerator was inside wardrobe, very narrow space....and only one hanger available. No breakfast included.
