Very good to stay..good sea view...

Woudnt stay again room stank blocked drains she said and the worst breakfast ive ever had

Staff were friendly and stay was quiet at night. Few niggles, I’m afraid . Sliding door to bathroom, inoperative, wallpaper, peeling And very loud Creek in centre of shower room, which must annoy people below

Everything was great and owners friendly and helpful

Very friendly. Very clean . being over critical the plumbing/fixtures in the bathroom were poorly done. A couple of loose screws on the shower head bracket etc.tile grouting poor standard. But that's me being very picky. Over all nice and pleasant and clean. Definitely value for money.

Small room but very clean and comfortable. Perfect for one night stay. I arrived too early for check in but Manager was very accommodating.

Greated with a warm welcome & a friendly smile. Asked every morning if i needed anything. Breakfast was delicious & very filling. My room was spotlessly clean & nice & warm. Nothing was too much for the lovely couple who run the Trevone. Will definitely return

Friendly service, comfortable sea view room was a plus and breakfast was very good.

I loved that my room overlooked the sea (as I'd asked for) and that I drifted off to sleep to the sound of the waves. Unfortunately wooden floors, very creeky beds and other reside ta klunking around kept waking me up. Owners friendly and helpful but looked rather tired, bit like the decor!

The Seaview did it for me. aswell as the breakfast

Did not want card payment, did not want to provide receipt. Bathroom was internal room, no ventilation and smelt very stale, beginning of mould on ceiling and paint flaking. Only shower was over bath and very lukewarm water. Charged £75 for this. No recommended.

Good position. Near beach,shops& cafes. Not too far from the theatre. Breakfast available as an extra. Lovely hosts. Free parking on street for blue badge holders.

Having asked to stay an extra night we were told yes but we have to change you to another room,a better room with a king size bed and still a sea view. Well the bed was NOT king-size , we had booked single beds because we sleep better in single beds. We had 4 nights of interrupted sleep because the bed was too small and even though it was sea view you had to stand to see it. The en suite was really small and the door couldn't be fully open before it hit the basin.The owners were very friendly and cheerful and we had the small breakfast with tea and orange squash for £8.50 which we thought was reasonable. No toiletries were provided so I'm glad we had our own. A hairdryer was provided as was an iron and ironing board.The shower cubicle had a rubber mat in it. No housekeeping i.e. bed making and cleaning was provided in the 4 days we stayed due to 'covid' even though other hotels did provide this.we were able to ask for clean towels when we needed them. No noise from the guests next room. We had to pay cash for our stay due to unforeseen circumstances. No parking except for street parking and a back street which was for whoever got there first but not legal parking.

Everything was bang on. People who run it are so luvly and accomodating. Luved every minute

The property is clean and just in front of the sea and the view is fantastic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Location was very nice on the sea front very near the town centre and about 10 minutes away from railway station.

The Trevone is that best of businesses---an independent one where the owners, Felicity and Phil, work hard to make it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I really liked my cosy single room. And Phil and Fel were always willing to provide local information about places to eat or to visit---and always with a smile. Thank you, both. I shall be returning, hopefully, in the spring.

We had a lovely time and the lady and gentleman were courteous friendly and helpful. they told us that upgrades are ongoing it is basic but comfortable and clean breakfast was lovely will return

Despite the reviews i found the Trevone hotel very nice. Felicity and Phil were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was a bit dated but room ok and beds comfy. Location very good for sea and pier and shops. Woukd definitely stay again.

The rooms are very outdated & the beds & flooring needs replacing

Very clean but a bit tired staff friendly and helpful only thing that was a bit disturbing was two nights there was a homeless person sleeping in the lounge

Lovely place,, made to feel welcome when checking in the owners were really helpful and friendly,, paid in cash as that's all they are accepting at moment,, breakfasts are £8 pp extra,, and they are well worth it, the breakfast area is lovely and clean and the breakfast itself is really good,, they offer you cereal,, orange juice, full English and toast,, the owner was always on hand to see if everything was ok,, we got allocated room 11 a twin room which could do with an update but was clean,, we had a look at other rooms while we were there and they looked spot on,, when checking out the owners made sure we had a great stay and we will definitely stay there again

There is bed bug in the room and my friend was bitten 12 bites on the arm.

It is the best budget hotel you can get. Staff are nice. The room is clean. There is no daily house keeping though.

Made very welcome by the gorgeous owners we had perfect bed and breakfast hotel right opposite beach walking distance of pier and shops ideal location can request rooms overlooking beach outside sitting area to allow you to get the last of the sun only thing lacking no night time entertainment but pubs close enough it didn’t matter perfection location for few days week or longer
