There’s easy transportation to the property and a shopping center is within walking distance. Staff was really helpful. The only issue I had was water provided was what they collected and said was filtered. That’s not acceptable or safe. I asked for bottled water and was charged for it.

Nice and quiet oasis in the middle of town. We had a nice, cool room with its own small garden, perfect for relaxing after roaming the city. The kitchen is serving fantastic meals, mostly european quisine, and all the staff did its best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Ace.

The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were also really nice and even did a wash load of clothes for us for $10. There was an appropriately sized television, toiletries, and unlimited tea and coffee by a kettle. in terms of the area it was down a street with rats, although there was rats everywhere in Colombo. That being said there were no rats inside the hotel. It was very clean and beautiful. Colombo itself I would not recommend to visit, but it was a good place to stay if you had just got off the aeroplane. The food and the staff were extremely nice. It is worth noting that the hotel is around 45 minute drive from the airport. Just in case you thought it was closer and driving around Columbo is dangerous. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would recommend it to other people. The shower was nice too.

All staff very attentive food beautifully presented and delicious the staff could not do enough for us. Everything super clean , Nothing was too much effort Premises very attractive Building site next door awful with burning and smoke. Loved our stay with Taru though

I have a very nice stay in this lodge. Environment is nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is superb! I recommend this property to whoever visit Colombo.

This property is an oasis within the busy streets of Colombo city. A very short Tuk Tuk ride gets you to Galle Face where you can watch the sunset into the sea....
The hotel is clean and fresh, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food is great. You wont need a lunch after their Sri Lankan breakfast!

We came in after a tiring road trip and were immediately greeted by courteous and efficient staff who allowed us to relax immediately and explained everything in a very professional manner. It is obvious they are very well trained.The bungalow itself is very tastefully done, there wasnt a single thing I found out of place. It is simply beautiful by day and takes on another lovely facet at night.The rooms are well designed and gorgeous. The food- absolutely outstanding. Every single thing was superb.As an experience, I would rate our stay here 5 out of 5 stars- and would definitely stay here again. A big thank you to all the well trained staff who went out of their way to accommodate our requests (while travelling with young children, bound to be a few of those) and make our stay a relaxed and memorable one.

It’s unfortunate that we were there only one night. We arrived after the first bombs of April 21 and decided to leave the country. The hotel is very clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff is outstanding and the food is delightful. I’m sad we could not even leave the hotel to explore given the Marshall law but at least we were in a place we felt comfortable. Would love to come back under different circumstances.

My favorite parts were the homemade popsicle and jasmine scented towel upon arrival. The fresh fruit plate included with breakfast. I ate dinner there both nights of my stay and the food was delicious. Every single one of the staff were super kind and accommodating, especially Seelan! My room was comfortable and clean and lovely! I am so happy to have found this place. Highly recommended!

Not the place to stay if you wish to have a favourable impression on your first night in Sri Lanka. The impression given by description etc is not borne out by experience. A Stygian concrete building in a faux Bawa style, we were shown a room complete with noisy aircon, noisy fan, hard bed and lumpy pillows. The window looks out onto a concrete wall topped with barbed wire. Staff are rather chararcterless, the only good thing to come out of our stay here as the car and driver who took us to our holiday hotel in Bentota. Anyone who rates this place as superb after a night in Room 1 is suffering from a serious error in judgement.

We stayed one night before our flight home after a 3 week trip around Sri Lanka. It was very peaceful after the mad traffic in Colombo. We were tired and spent the evening at the hotel with a lovely dinner on the terrace. A perfect end to our trip.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! From the warm welcome to the classy, comfortable rooms. From the divine breakfast to the superb help with booking tub-tiks, dinner, airport transfers. The most customer focussed experience we had in Sri Lanka and far and away the best breakfast we had. We definitely recommend this outstanding hotel. We stayed in the suite and loved the space...

Very well appinted room, polished concrete walls - very designerly, but ours looked out onto a wall. Somehow the photos seemed to suggest that there was a view of the garden or a balcony. But perhaps I should have looked closer. So the room was elegant but somewhat dark. However the excellent service and the very charming staff more than made up for it. Añso loved the breakfast, fresh fruit and homemade granola and excellent yoghurt, eaten at tables overlooking the pretty garden. A very pleasant oasis in the craziness of Colombo.

Pretty and cozy boutique hotel in a quiet corner of Colombo. You will not hear the noise from traffic. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable although smell was strong from the use of scented washing detergent on the sheets.

We took an hour tut tut tour with Samon outside the hotel, ask at reception if you need him, he was absolutely brilliant our hour (800 rupees, plus a lovely tip!) turned into around 90 mins as he was so enthusiastic and obviously loves Colombo.

A perfect location to finish a tour of Sri Lanka. Easy tuk tuk 500r transfer from Fort railway station Excellent boutique hotel at the end of a quiet street. Very comfortable bed and room. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast included with the best coffee we had had. Dinner was a little expensive but very good quality and ambiance without the hassle and expense of a taxi. Hotel arranged airport transfer for 2500r which took an hour an half.

For a mere £84 we stayed in this lovely, comfortable hotel in Colombo. The friendliest welcome with a refreshing Popsicle followed by helpful advice about getting around the city. We didn't eat dinner there as that evening was a wonderful play procession just round the corner but breakfast was delicious. We hope to return for more than one night
