For the Lagos area this is probably a upper class property but not for elsewhere like the USA etc. The price was good considering. My only real contention with this property is the lack of communication. DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING! ASK. I assumed breakfast was not free because I was not told at check-in and it was not stated on the Expedia info page for the listing, but it was free. Since I didn't know it was free, I paid for breakfast for 8-10 days until one room service server told me it was free at the restaurant. I tried getting a refund - no dice. This ticked me off.

Neatness, Accessibility and great customer service.

Well, this property is average. But for the area it is pretty decent. Cable TV is pretty good and they even have Netflix in the TV. The main issue I have is that I paid about 70, 000 Naira for breakfast everyday when it was free! I spoke to the manager Gabriel who seemed like a a very thoughtful person and he said he was going to resolve the issue but I never heard back from him. I spoke to another manager, Addi, but he said he is the food and beverage manage and he could not handle an issue with the breakfast. So at the time I am waiting for a resolution but as of 9:30 am local time, no manager has reported to work as yet and that alone seems strange to me.I asked for a manager since 7am on Sunday and none can be found. The front desk said they would ring my room as soon as one arrived - yea right. I called fro the 2nd time and the receptionist says she believes one is in the building. My local friends believe that I can scammed by the room service workers who just pocked the money while providing me with the breakfast from the buffet. Who knows? All I know is that no one is getting any tips for any thing. And I would advise anyone staying here to NEVER tip anyone. The workers are always holding out their hands for tips for doing their jobs. Never tip anyone until the end of your stay when you are sure that you haven't been scammed in anyway. Bottom line, don't assume anything - ASK! They will not volunteer the information as one would expect.

The services and the location

I booked this room arrived at 4pm to check in they took about 2hrs for room to be ready, I booked superior room and it was far from it. The room had mold on the walls the floor was still wet from them mopping I guess. The bed was hard as the floor

The lift was not functioning, I didn’t enjoy this time.

This was an absolutely horrible place to stay. The staff at the reception was absolutely awful and rude beyond belief. Entirely unpleasant and needlessly confrontational. The room had a stale musky smell and the sheets were stained in various places. The bathroom was generally poorly maintained but was at least marginally clean. The check out process was less dramatic but still disorganised and completely unprofessional. The hotel seemed to resent the fact that the booking was made via Expedia.

For the price what can u expect. The room was ok but dated and need tlc. Pool closed early. Service was decent but a lot of the credit card machines did not work properly

Like the property. It is Clean and smells good. But they will do better on fixing their bathroom.

It’s too close to the main highway and airport,,,the noise outside disrupts the Pearce inside.

They gave I and my husband one towel to use for three days. When I made a complaint with the front desk and subsequently the manager, we still did not get a change of towel.

This is the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed since I’ve been traveling. My room was not cleaned everyday as requested. I and my wife was given one towel to share for 3 days. When we requested towels, we were told it was going to be delivered to our room. Waited and no towels were delivered for 3 good days. Made a complaint and spoke to the manager, but to no avail. I guess it’s their norm here Joygate hotel. I was charged for a room I canceled well before time and the hotel refused to refund my money. I will never stay at this hotel again when I visit Nigeria. They have very bad customer service and they are nonchalant even when you make a complaint. They just don’t care but to collect your money.
