We were extremely pleased when we arrived at the apartment, as it was even better than we had imagined. The apartment was beautiful, homely, spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location.

Minster’s Keep was the perfect location for our stay in York. Nestled in the heart of the old city walls on a charming side street, it was a perfect spot to enjoy all the history and sights of York. We loved the shops and restaurants on our street, just steps from the apartment. Encounter Coffee was our favorite place for coffee/tea and lovely sandwiches! Strolling the streets, visiting York Minster, walking the walls, shopping the Shambles, visiting St. Mary’s Gardens and eating delicious food at The Duke of York were right at our door step.

So lovely, right near the cathedral York Minster which is such a beautiful site, the christmas market is a must visit too

What a beautiful apartment we could see the spires of York minster from our windows. Right on Goodramgate so we were able to walk everywhere. Home from home. We managed to work out the heating & the beds were very comfortable. Everything was there what you would need for a break. My sister loved the stairs going down to the lounge. Wonderful place we would certainly stay there again.

My 2 night stay in Minster’s Keep apartment was with 2 very good friends and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The apartment was excellent and in a great location for shops and restaurants.

This flat was an amazing location for our tours of not only York but the surrounding towns as well. Felt very safe in this neighborhood and found many gluten-friendly restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

This apartment is absolutely perfect for a visit to York. Located round the corner from York Minster and less than 2 minute walk from the Shambles/centre with a supermarket practically next door. All rooms are well furnished and very comfortable. Due to the orientation it can get hot in the kitchen, living room and one bedroom but fans are provided and windows openable. I couldn’t recommend this apartment more and would 100% stay again. The only negative would be the directions for arrival. You need to go to the back and the postcode is for the front. Obviously most have sat nav/Google maps but a small map along with the instructions would be handy.

The apartment was great and very central fothe Shambles and York Minster. There is lift access with parking so easy to settle in. The only.problem we had was the radiator in the living room wasn't working when we were there and it qas really cold had to sit in the bedroom to watch TV, a portable radiator was dropped off but didn't really warm up.the living room enough. However was assured problem would be rectified for the next visitor but didn't help us out at the time, as our stay was only for 2 nights

Nice apartment in a great location but no more than 2 people can have a shower in a reasonable time frame as the water tank runs out and you need to wait until it re-heats enough water,we contacted Amy when we realised the water was ice cold to be told to wait for an hour,we did and the water was still freezing so two of us had to boil the kettle and have a cursory wash in the sink,we then went out for the day still messaging Amy to try to sort this issue,she then told we'd need to go back to the apartment and leave the key for the plumber as there's only one!?!?!?,by the time we'd gone back it was nearly three hours after the initial showers had been taken and the water was still only Luke warm,no where near enough to shower in, bearing in mind this is advertised as a six person apartment this is nowhere near good enough,won't be using again.

Location is perfect very Central with parking . Quiet and clean and well looked after . 2 minute walk to the minster and we had minster views from the window. Will return .

Location of this apartment was fabulous, just where we needed to be, right in the city centre. It was lovely and big, the kitchen was really well stocked with everything you'd need. The lounge area was comfortable. However, the apartment was described on the website as being immaculate, and I'm afraid it wasn't. Both bathrooms were not cleaned to a particularly good standard. The toilet bowls were stained, and the shower seals were green. The website also said that both bedrooms had king sized beds. The were only doubles. There's also a lack of sockets in the bedroom without the en suite. A dressing table at one end of the bedroom, but no sockets anywhere near so unable to use a hairdryer near the dressing table. This could be an amazing property, but the points mentioned above really do need addressing, particularly the standard of cleanliness in the bathrooms.

Great location, convenient parking. Lovely decor, clean and bright. Radiators were switched off so took some time to warm up as the weather turned colder. Hot water ran out, it seemed the ironing board had been placed against the thermostat and switched it off.

Great location and lovely apartment. It was the ideal base for our family holiday. However, the overnight deliveries to neighbouring businesses were very noisy and woke us up every night even with all double windows closed. I also wasn’t convinced the beds were king size as stated in the descriptions available online. York Boutique Lets were very easy to work with and very responsive to emails and calls. I would consider staying here again, but would definitely include some earplugs in my luggage.

Really enjoyed our stay at Minsters keep, such a lovely apartment with modern features and plenty of space. Getting to the apartment was fairly easy using the instructions provided. Getting to it from the parking space is a bit of a trek, having to go up one full set of stairs and down another full set to get to the lift so would recommend two trips if you have a lot of bags! We stayed on one of the hottest weekends of year and the apartment never felt too hot thanks to the beautiful big windows in each room. Everywhere was cleaned to a high standard before our arrival and we were provided with plenty of essentials to keep it clean and sanitised throughout. The kitchen had everything needed to make a meal and all appliances were easy to use. The bathrooms are lovely as well, only had a minor issue in the main bathroom with the shower head slipping down the rail meaning my friend had to hold the shower head up at all times when showering. Other than that the showers had good pressure and a lovely temperature. The location is perfect for getting to the shops and bars, it was so nice to be able to see the Minster every morning through the bedroom window. Would definitely recommend, a beautiful apartment in an amazing location. 10/10.

Excellent accommodation. Much more than we expected. Very well kitted out for everyone’s needs. Brilliant place.
