Good basic room. Clean and service was good.

it would of been good but our fridge was dirty with mold and there was a group that was loud and up till 4am talking real loud on the stairs outside of the room

This was the worst hotel I have ever seen. No elevator in main lobby entrance. Elevator was around the back of hotel and was filthy. Had to get buzzed in to lobby upon arrival; one attendant on hand. Was charged a $50 deposit on the non-smoking room I booked. When we got to the room the lights did not work and the AC was off. The room temperature was at least 85 degrees at 7:30 p.m. Was unable to stay at this hotel and returned to lobby for a credit of the deposit charged. Have initiated an inquiry for full refund. Investigation pending.

The hotel was run down, the room you couldn’t walk without your shoes or your feet turned black. We discovered bed bugs the morning after we arrived so we left early. Have been working with Expedia to get a refund but have not been able to get anywhere so far with the hotel responding.

Good location

The lady that checked us in was very rude! I couldn’t understand her. My husband has a muscle disorder so I reserved an accessible room to guarantee a room on the 1st floor. She questioned me if I really needed a handicap room. He walks on a walker!! It was VERY sketchy!!! We woke up to someone’s suitcase outside our door!! WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE. Homeless people hanging around parking lot. Did not feel safe the minute I got there. I decided to not stay and was refused refund.

Pool was closed, no elevator shown to us and the room was so dirty!

The housekeeping staff started beating on my door hours before checkout. I went ahead and opened the door and told her come on and start cleaning since she couldn’t wait until I checkout! She snatched the sheets off the bed and went to wipe the bathroom counter with dry napkins! No disinfectant or anything! Like wow! I have never been harassed like that!

Tha staff and management was extremely accommodating. However the location of the property was "undesirable". The were occupants near our room that was suspect with people coming and going through the day and night. Was surprised that I had to pay an additional $50 no smoking fee that is supposed to be removed from my account when we check out. But very appreciative the staff and management. I understand that running a facility that size is a lot.

Although the room was clean, the hotel was poorly updated, the lamp didn’t have a bulb in it and apparently the light switch beside the door wasn’t connected to anything so since it was night time we had to stumble around a dark room trying to find a light. Also the entire place smells like weed, I honestly think I got a slight contact high just walking through the lobby and we could smell it in the room. But to be fair we had clean sheets and the bathroom was clean even if it was outdated, so that was decent.

The bed sheets are clean. The floor and the room are clean. But the bed cover has stain and the iron board has stain. One of the chairs is in poor state. The drain in the shower is slow. The hotel is next to a highway and rail road so you will hear road noise and train air horn. They collected $50 refundable deposit. So pretty average hotel. The laundry is coin operated and only has 1 washer and 1 dryer and they said it is 3rd party owned not the hotel operator. We went to a laundromat instead. Please see photos I uploaded.

We were traveling to FL and booked last minute because the options were limited. The hotel smells and we had to carry luggage to 3rd floor. Parking lot isn’t safe. Smoke alarm was chirping in lobby and then in our room. We asked to fix it and then it wasn’t after 30 min so we decided to leave. I’d rather sleep in my car. I was told I’d be refunded and now I’m not getting refunded for a room I didn’t stay in. Plus, it’s dirty.

The hotel looks a lot rougher than it does on the pictures. It’s in an old, neglected part of town with an abandoned Popeye’s across the street. You can also hear all of the noise from the highway. At least the room is decent & clean.

Most horrible experience I've had in my life so far , might as well be at a truck stop restroom. The bed was so filthy I didn't even sit on it . Toilet still had crud all over , the fridge had rust inside , even the chairs had all kinds of stains all over and the bottom was hanging out. Slept in my car, couldn't get a refund, and Expedia didn't call back like they promised.

The room was clean but it has a different smell. I can't explain what the smell was but it's like it hasn't been sprayed for a long time. There were coffee cups but no coffee maker nor coffees in the room. I have specified that there will be 3 people in the room (including a 7 year old child) but only 2 towels were available. But other than that, our stay was okay.

The Lady at the front desk was VERY rude to me!!!!! Very unprofessional and disrespectful..

First my keys didn’t work so I had to go back to the front desk to get them remade. Then when I got in the room, there was a towel that appeared to be used sitting on the bathroom counter. And when I pulled the cover back to rest, it appeared it’d been slept in and the sheets just pulled back. It didn’t seem fresh. The walls are very thin and the bathroom outdated. Very basic.

At check in the lady at the desk said that my card has been denied prior to check in.. when I had a receipt from Expedia stating otherwise and she was saying the last 4 digits of my credit card did not match. She called someone and it was straightened out. We reserved a handicap room because my son has congestive heart failure and our room was in the 3rd floor and 3 flights of stairs. When we got to the room my shoes were sticking to the floors that had broken linoleum flooring. My pillowcase had stains on it and the tv table has greasy residue on the top. I tried to get a different room and the lady at the front told me she had already assigned me a room and there was nothing she could do, and that I was in one of the best rooms they had. I sprayed our bedding down with Lysol laid blankets that I had brought from home on top of the beds to sleep on. The only reason we stayed here was to be able to get to UAB early the next morning for heart test for my son. The advertising is so misleading! Will never stay here again.

The hotel made me feel unsafe… lots of homeless people and addicts. Room key difficult to use… had to try over and over. Busted light bulb. Room very dusty including bathroom… seemed dirty. Bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way.

The outside looks VERY sketchy. The area looks extremely unsafe. Inside looks like it has been renovated. The rooms are ok. The staff isn't the friendliest. Not rude exactly but not friendly either.

It was fine for a night. Clean. But super flat pillows and the bed had a metal band around the base that squeaked loudly when you moved. Breakfast is advertised but really not provided in reality. If you need a place off the highway to lay your head this could be it.

The hotel itself was fine. It truly was OK. We don’t feel safe, but some of that was the location. The room was average on cleanliness. The doors open to the outside, and the breakfast was barely anything, and what was there didn’t seem very clean

This was a terrible property. Expedia listed it as 4.2. When I booked saw that it was rated below 2. Room smelled like moldy carpet. Mattress was lumpy placed on a sheet metal frame that popped everyone you moved. Shower ceiling had paint peeling, and low water pressure. Walked from shower to bed to sit down & put on socks. Dirt & grit on bottom of feet. Sheets, blanket, and bed cover smelled like cigarettes. Towels had stains on them. Went to “free “ breakfast at 7 am. No one in the room. No food, no coffee. Guy behind desk said to use coffee in jugs and heat In microwave. I will never use Expedia again, and will never stay in a Days Inn
