The room and amenities were beautiful! The food was just ok.

Love this resort! Rodger, our concierge for building 26 was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed Seaside Grill and Jose, the manager of the restaurant was so accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of. All the staff were very friendly. It was a wonderful vacation!

The best service, beach, location!

All aspects of the resort were truly excellent. The staff and the services rendered were particularly good. The service provided by our concierge was exceptional especially when my wife unfortunately took ill. The only negative aspect was the split level floor in our room requiring a step up or down. This is in all the rooms and it is easy to misstep as I did twice. Fortunately I had no serious harm but serious injury is possible.

Secrets Maroma beach is the definition of a 5 star resort. Every aspect of the trip from check in to check out was incredibly well taken care of. The accomidations were comfortable and clean. The staff made this vacation amazing. Truly the nicest, friendliest, and most accomidating staff ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. The beach, pools, activity were all fantastic as well. Food and drinks were on par. Would highly recommend this resort for those looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to relax, unwind, and enjoy.

Amazing property! The service was top notch. They had so many thoughtful services like people going around cleaning your sunglasses by the pool, to a bottle of water on each side of your bed with slippers and chocolate at bedside turndown service. The restaurants had amazing great food. We loved the Italian and French restaurants but everything was really good. The bar staff and front desk were all so friendly. This was one of our favorite Secrets resorts. The beach was incredible if you like to bob in the water with soft sand under your feet. Perfect! We loved it!!

Overall beautiful location, one of a kind beach access and the staff is phenomenally accommodating!

Greatest first experience we ever had food was so amazing

We did not like how the main areas were crammed into one section of the resort, specifically the restaurants. In addition, for every dining experience to include breakfast there was a wait time. Now the quality of the food was good and staff were attentive. The spa experience at first was bad, one of the receptionist was not friendly and we felt that our questions was annoying her when trying to book our spa services. Once we met our massage therapist that changed and the experience was good overall. The pool was awesome, and all the staff servicing that area were on point. However, pool chairs were all always taken so had to go out to the pool area super early. One thing that we did not appreciate was the promise of one hour and thirty minute presentation for vacation club that we were told would not exceed that time frame. Fours hours later we were begging to end it and that experience mess our day and plans up. We told them upfront we weren’t really interested. I recommend not to take it as it’s not worth the payout and reps will not respect the time and will speak down to you in an effort to make a sale. Room service menu is very limited, however Service and delivery were prompt. Last remarks, the floor concierge, and receptionist was very attentive and polite, as well as the valet parking and pool servers. The beach was also very clean, water was clear and overall beautiful and well taken care of.

Amazing stay, one of the best all inclusive resort. Food is very very good but it is the only thing that could be even a little better.

The beach was amazing. The property was smaller with only one pool. Food was good but would have liked to see more choices. We paid for our upgrade and weren’t offered a free upgrade. Had preferred status but didn’t really need those benefits as we didn’t use the beach section which was smaller and only went to the restaurant once. Overall glad we tried Secrets but not sure we will be returning to this hotel.

Staff 8, food 8, beach 9, pool 7.5 bc only two pools, entertainment 9. No snorkling near the beach either.

Customer service was A , you didn’t have to leave the resort because there were so many activities to do everyday. Next time I will spend a few days enjoying the resort.

Wonderful setting with attentive staff

We booked the Preferred Junior Suit swim out and it was a good choice. Fyi, booking preferred will grant you entrance to the Preferred Beach Club as well as hydrotherapy, sauna and steam room (just make a reservation) for free. Anyway, the resort was world class. The restaurants were gourmet and the night entertainments are great. We watched the Fire dance, Violin/guitar instrumental, Boogie and Jersey Boys entertainment. Our room was cleaned everyday including daily change of sheets and towels. All staff were courteous and respectful. Customer service was unbelievable and they are all there to please. It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband to celebrate life and experience the finer things in life. Highly recommend this place!

property was clean, if you want quiet it is quiet (too quiet for us). I would avoid the membership sales pitch (said 90 minutes & took 3 hrs, and the spa certificates they give are for individual treatments when if you do the regular packages it is cheaper without certificates) and as far as the spa i would say ok, we have done a lot of spas all around the world and it would be the bottom of my list and extremely over priced for the quality of treatments, food was pretty good for an all inclusive, beach was beautiful and kept pretty clean of seaweeds, service was pretty good (except for a run in we had with a Paula). it is a pretty. nice and clean place.
