Hotel was great about getting me back into my room after my key was deactivated before the time of the late check out i requested. Although it was some what inconvenient to have to walk all the way down to the front desk.

No parking except an Indigo parking across the street that is accessible by car from the opposite block.
No food service inside the hotel, only frozen plates.

didn’t enjoy the bathroom doors that didn’t close all the way, led to less restful sleeps hearing people moving around and use the washroom at night. also had some incredibly loud neighbours which also dampened the experience. overall lovely hotel and staff were very nice and attentive.

There was no ice at all. It seems the dispenser wasn't working. Our room wasn't ready, even though we were past the check in time. The café was out of stock of most everything on the menu including butter. The chair in the room was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I've experienced...basically useless.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was very roomy. Overall I would stay here again.

I loved my stay at the Alt!! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful! They always greeted us with a smile and were quick to help with anything we needed or asked. The hotel is clean and comfortable and I love its focus on eco friendliness. It was a quick and easy walk to so many tourist highlights such as Parliament, Rideau Centre mall, and Byward Market. I will be back!

Elevator needed a room card to work giving some extra security. Great coffee bar on site with comfortable tables and seating. No parking onsite but conveniently located across the street.

Place was nice but quirky room interior with see through shower into the room and bathroom door that allowed you to see into the toilet and shower when closed. but other then that it was good

Cool hotel bar area really sets the vibe of the hotel. Excellent staff. Modern room designs. The only thing missing was a mini fridge in the room

In town for a wedding, had a lovely stay. The rooms are all modern with eco friendly considerations. Hotel does not have parki g but across the street is a garage and the rate isnt terrible.

Hotel room was spacious and clean which we liked. It’s also convenient to parliament hill. Only down side is no parking on site and no safety box in the hotel room.

We had a great stay at the Alt, perfect location when staying downtown as everything is walkable distance. My only complaint is the lack of black of curtains and see through shower that leads into bedroom area. Otherwise clean, simple, and just what we needed!

The rooms are exactly as shown on Expedia - funky and functional. If you have an EV, park at the World Trade building about 2 blocks away. Free charging with paid parking. Says you can’t park over night but we did without a problem.

Nice location, very comfortable to get from highways, close to attractions or quiet evening walk, many places to have dinner around,
Friendly staff and clean and comfortable inside.
