There was one staff member who was pleasant and helpful bed was comfy there was tv which was good location close to city centre pub in guest House opened at 12 so beverages avail

Rooms were lacking cleanliness ie half empty toiletries bottle left in shower from previous shower head cld have been cleaned wall paper off walls open toilet window to see dead pigion simple things dirty kettle little points big difference a smell like perm lotion consistent in one of the rooms More focused on pub our opinion as was noisy with dj They advertise breakfast food however don't serve food till 6pm

I liked the location, host was very pleasant. The bed was also very comfortable.

The tv in the room didn’t work, and found a few dark long hairs in the bedding…

Bar staff & regulars friendly. Manager was around but did not communicate with us at all even when a regular asked her a question for us, she did not look at us or even say hello.

The bar speaker was left on all night on our 1st night & the bar was locked up, so all we could hear was the very loud continuous music until 9am (possible breach of entertainment licence) The next day a regular told us that the manger herself had left it on?? I had messaged the fb page & got a prompt reply informing me that "the manger lives on site & I have sent them a message" however the music never stopped throughout the night. There was also a female stain on the mattress topper, the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned, the water - for a shower was freezing or boiling hot continously changing through your duration of your shower, we had very little toilet roll & had to ask 3 times & thankfully the nice young man behind the bar got us one in the end. There was no blind or shielding from the bathroom window.There was water left in the kettle with bits floating in it.

Staff were helpful. The location was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable . Free parking.

There wasn't anything to not like.

This was a story of two halves the room was lovely and clean and had everything I needed, the food was really good and chatting to the chef I think he knows what he's talking about....however

When I arrived I was told I didn't have a booking while I stuck to the pub carpet and then the landlady made me feel quite unwelcome it wasn't busy so I would have expected they would know I was coming? There are no lights in the car park and no sign to say go round the front so I tried to enter at the back and doors were locked. I wasn't told what to do in the morning when I left I came down to a dark entrance with noone there and let myself out..this isn't a problem but I would have liked to have known, I get the impression the pub has only recently been taken over so hope my feedback helps with improvements
