We stayed for two nights while touring the area. Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel is very conveniently located. We will stay again

We were welcomed at reception and escorted to our room to have the retractable sky light function and other room amenities explained. Breakfast each day was efficient with exact orders taken to minimise waste. Our room had amazing views of the lake and the night sky and we would definitely stay again if we visit Lake Tekapo

The room was beautiful and spacious! My favorite features were the huge window with a view of Lake Tekapo and the snow-capped mountains, and the skylight for the dark sky views. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and the towels were spa quality. The room included a prepared breakfast along with continental options. The only downside was that it was about a 15 minute walk along a fairly busy highway to any restaurants or shopping, which were sparse. But all in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Galaxy Boutique Hotel.

Great stay, would highly recommend. Very modern and clean. Breakfast was included which you could enjoy in the main space or in your room enjoying the great views. Tip to ask for level 2 room as you wont have anyone walk past the front of your room and you also get a skylight above your bed to enjoy stargazing. 5 min walk into main street.

Very basic hotel. In Usa would be more of a Motel. It is walking distance to the little town. Online it seems like its way nicer than it is. Convenient and clean are the big draw

Nice little boutique hotel with very nice rooms. The highlight is the window in the roof, you can watch the stars lying in bed.

Everything is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. It has a beautiful view of Lake Tekapo, easy parking and, most importantly, very personalized service provided by extremely friendly people. The breakfast, prepared with great care, was delicious. In short, everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

This accommodation was incredible. The views were breathtaking and the bathroom was probably our favourite part. A big window in front of the bath so you could look out the window to the mountains and stars! The roof window is next level perfection! Loved having a romantic stay here with my partner, stargazing and relaxing. The staff were so lovely and helpful and breakfast was delicious! Please please please book this in for your next stay!!!

The room was not in a clean state at all. Dust on all over the skirtings and soap scum and mould in the bathroom shower area. When I told the staff member at reception at check out time . She advised they only clean these areas every 2 weeks. I showed her the photos I took and didn’t seem too fussed. Wouldn’t recommend to others or stay again. Definitely not value for money.
