Owners Larry and Mary were wonderful and accommodating. Rooms were spacious. Pool was great. Right next to a great beach. Secure undercover parking.

Great location, nice apartment and facilities.
The bed was terrible, every movement had the bed wobbling with creaking noises creating disturbed sleep.

Lovely designed apartment, very comfortable. The grounds were neat, it is a good location and view from BBQ area of ocean and sand dunes was very nice and relaxing.
Most of the plates, cutlery and cups were stained and still had food on them from prior occupants. The tray in oven was still greasy. Had to rewash everything, which is not what you need at beginning of a holiday. You only get one satchel of dish washing powder as starter for your stay. Luckily we bring our own.

The location in Currumbin was excellent, so close to the beach and the walking path to the coffee shop was just outside the gate.
There was a drain smell in the ensuite bathroom, but as it was Easter there was no one to inform about it until we actually checked out.

Our gate opened directly onto a path to the beach. The beach was really lovely and the Currumbin surf life saving club nearby was excellent with great food and a fabulous view. The pool and Spa at sandcastles is a good size with available shade and Currumbin sanctuary was around the corner.
Shops were a bit of a walk but mainly because part of the access road was blocked off. If you didnt have a car with you getting to other places would be a bit tricky, however there were buses nearby we just didnt really explore them.

it would have been great in its day - the location is quiet and convenient. the couch was comfortable.
It’s not that day anymore. The whole property was tired, access was intricate with different keys for different areas/doors. the apartment was in poor condition. Not sure if there was a lift but I couldn’t find it if there was one - be aware if you’re taking large suitcases up articulated stairs! the ceiling in the carpark is low - if you have an SUV + auto boot you will have to catch it or have the paint rearranged.

We found the manager, Larry, particularly helpful. The facilities are very good. Great pool and easy walking distance to beach (right on the beachfront) and to an excellent foodmart and terrific coffee shops. Close too to good cafes and a great craft beer venue. Easy walk to Currumbin Wildlife Park.
The actual venue is terrific. Occasional - and I repeat occasional - noisy aircraft landing or leaving Coolie Airport during the day. Not at night.
