The apartment is lovely. It is well appointed with a lovely focus on art, creating a personal and cozy space. Although it served our purposes, it is a little off the beaten track for public transit. We wish there had been a local map with some highlighted features. We discovered, quite by accident little village areas, that had us wishing for more time then our 4 nights. It is a transitional neighbourhood with lots of interesting gems and an area that we would like to visit again. We would most definitely book this sweet vrbo.

The property was as advertised. Comfortable, calm, quiet. Close to grocery, close to bus stop and across the street from a park. We enjoyed our stay.

The best and most important thing to us was the bed. So very comfy. And the pillows. We slept well. The flat is in a super neighborhood, safe and friendly, close to public transportation and places to eat. At the end of each day of sightseeing, we felt like we were coming home. Highly recommend this beautifully decorated flat.

The flat was as advertised. Had a problem with a leaky washer which limited our ability to use it. Nice shower...workable kitchen. Very pleasant host.

A nicely appointed apartment in a good location, close to a number of buses, markets, and several pubs. Condiments, snacks, and a nice welcome gift. Good communications with owners helped us work through issues about entrance, heater, washing machine. Very quiet neighborhood. We’d definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit had everything we needed and was cozy and comfortable. the bed was so nice we managed to sleep well despite the 8 hour time difference! The location was close to the sites but away from the crowds.

This delightful apartment is in a lovey area and very accessible to transport, great pubs and for taking long canal walks and to all the wonderful Islington shops and restaurants . The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed and the sitting area comfortable and the hosts easy to deal with.

This apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable, make dinners, and rest from sightseeing in London. The apartment is nicely decorated and the host has kindly provided a few items in the refrigerator to get you going. as well as a beautiful vase of flowers. Everything worked and was of good quality. The bed is comfortable. Usually I mention the location earlier in a review, but the apartment itself takes top place. The location is excellent, with a park right across the street, multiple bus lines and a train station within two or three blocks, and a canal along which it is a pleasure to walk. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Lastly, if you love roses they are right outside the windows. Highly recommend this listing and hope to return.

Situated perfectly for everything we wanted to do while in London and we felt very comfortable in the suite and the friendly community. Everything we could have needed was easy to find and access whether exploring or spending an evening in. We were even quite cool during the record setting heatwave. Will look here first for our next trip.

This is a pleasant and well-appointed flat in a great neighborhood. Loved the park across the street, and the easy access to multiple bus lines. Len and Gord were responsive for the minor issues that came up!

This flat was ideal for me! It is located in a neighborhood setting, minutes away from shops, bus and tube stops. As an avid walker, I was delighted to find that anywhere I wanted to go in London was possible on foot! And through such beautiful Parks and Canal Pathways! The apartment was beautifully maintained, and well-stocked. Lenn was so responsive and helpful! Absolutely Perfect London Stay!

Lenn's place was a wonderful cozy flat situated in the heart of Islington, and was a great place to stay. It was well stocked with kitchen equiptment, lots of kitchen supplies, had a great TV and Sonos system, a modern bathroom and a comfy bed. The location could not have been better; there were mutliple bus options within a 3 to 10 minute walk from the flat and only 20 minutes to walk to the Tube to get anywhere in London. The area had, great little green grocers, pubs, delis, restaurants and other services and a lovely canal walk just minutes from the flat. It was like being in a village in the middle of London. For two people, this place is ideal for short or longer term living and from which to explore London. Lenn, was a wonderful host, highly responsive and respectful in his communications and has a good sense of humor.We would return to Lenn's flat in a heartbeat if we are fortunate enough to be in London again.

Getting to location was not clear. Took bus everywhere but getting to the correct stop & bus was quite a maze! The apt. was nicely decorated & upgraded. Loved the Sonos sound system; tv connection & cable was not viewable so missed the Wimbledon matches & local news. Shower great but drainage slow & needed water splash guard by entry to shower. Washer/ dryer were most useful. Nice lighting and kitchen equipment & supplies. Would have been nice to meet with Lenn &/or Gord. Thank you!

This apartment was in a great area to explore London. The neighborhood was extremely quiet at night, I never heard people or vehicle traffic. My daughter and I felt very safe. The apartment was comfortable and we found we had everything we needed, we did not cook while there, but the kitchen looked well stocked. Around the corner and through the park you will find a bus stop, these bus lines will take you into central London in about 20 minutes depending on traffic. I strongly suggest you download the Citymapper App, this was a life saver for us. You plug in your location and where you want to go and it will tell you the best way to get there, whether by bus, tube, foot or driving. We used this app everyday throughout our visit, it’s awesome. There are many grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. I found a great bakery on Essex Road, Raab’s Bakery which was EXCELLENT and the ladies who run the bakery are so lovely, this is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Around the corner from the apartment is a pub, very nice with good food. On Essex Road you will find a variety of restaurants and stores. Go to Sutton and Sons for fish and chips, they have a lunch menu reasonably priced. All and all the apartment was great, quiet, well positioned with a scenic view from the kitchen window of a garden, it’s lovely. The WIFI worked great as did the TV. The washer and dryer was a nice convenience which we used and also worked great. The only suggestion I would have to make a stay more comfortable would be to replace the bed pillows, they are terribly flat and need of replacement, the bed comforter could stand and upgrade too. Other than those small things, the apartment was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay very much. If ever in London again, I will definitely be back.

The apartment was just lovely, and very much felt like home. Lenn was a very responsive host, which was great. The location was good - easy bus rides to one of three tube stations. Close to shops and pubs.

We loved staying in Lenn's house, it was really well-designed and had everything we needed. We were very cozy and found everything we needed easily. Highly recommended for location for easy access to central London.

We had a great stay! The apartment was beautiful and spotless and the communication was quick. We would definitely stay here again!
