Perfect location, parking permit included. Lovely property, very clean and tidy, host very helpful. really impressed with all the little touches to make your stay special, such as the Xmas decorations, chocolate reindeer, and goody basket!

A microwave would be the absolute icing on the cake, only because we did eat-in a fair bit whilst staying

Brilliant location, brilliant little house with everything you need and lovely friendly host. Just a short walk into York. House had loads of lovely little touches, we only stayed 2 nights but you could easily stay for a week, it was very comfortable with parking outside the property which was an added bonus.

Easy check in even though we arrived early. Car parking avaliable but streets very narrow, and parking is both sides. House very clean and ideal size for a couple, nice touches of milk tea bags coffee biscuits on arriveal. Bed very comfy and bathroom a good size. Towels provided but would have preferred bath sheets, but no big issue. Stayed for 3 nights which was enough to see York. Would stay here again, ten minute walk into town, very quite where the house is located. Thank you Lisa, who was on hand should you need her.

House was in a great location. It was clean and well equipped. Little extras in the house was a nice touch.

The camp bed wasn't ideal, was uncomfortable and noisy.

The property was just right for one or two people. the only slight negative was the shower over the bath had a shower curtain rather than a screen.

Great location within the city walls, 10 min walk from the heart of the centre. Quiet street with parking included (which is great if you need to bring more stuff that easy to carry on free park&ride busses).

Lisa was excellent at replying to messages promptly. She also gave us all the information needed and we felt confident with our stay there. She was really flexible on a later check out and letting us use the permit slightly longer. She decorated the house with lots of decorations. She left little ones around and the boys loved finding them all over the house. There were so many nice touches that really made it feel a home from home. She left little chocolates for the boys and us which were very much appreciated! A lovely location, central to walk to the city centre and explore. This was a wonderful place to stay in York for the weekend. The house was beautifully arranged, cozy, clean, and with an incredible location close to the train station, city walls, river, and historic center. We only wish we could have stayed a few more days!

The location is perfect, everything is very walkable from the location, and after a long day walking around, the bed is amazingly comfortable. The kitchen may be small, however has everything you need. Lisa is an amazing host, very easy to communicate with and goes that little bit extra by willing to take the time to offer up places to eat etc. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

The house is lovely and had everything we needed. all super clean and tidy. host was wonderful, even when we did have a small issue with one of the inflating mattresses, she handled it promptly and communicated very well. was as flexible as she could have been with check in and check out time. would definitely book again next time I'm in York.

I'd book again without hesitation, for a couple - it is perfect, We were 2 adults and 2 children and we moved the inflatable mattresses downstairs and placed them either side of the sofa. This worked very well, but required moving things a bit in the morning. Again - I'd book it again with no hesitation, just worth knowing.
