This little hotel was old but updated and had some interesting appointments....a curved marble staircase, crystal chandeliers, antique furniture. It was clean, had good A/C and was on a corner of the main square. Easy walking to the museum, church and monastery , shops and the pyramid. The hosts and staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Marvelous views of the city activity from the ample rooftop. It was quite something to see and hear hundreds of melodious blackbirds gather at dusk in the trees on the plaza. Secure parking behind the property was a real plus.

The room at the top of the stairs could be noisy at times with guests coming and going and cars. motorbikes, etc. on the street below.

I can not imagine finding a more beautiful, well maintained hotel at this price any where. Perfect location, excellent staff. It was perfect in every way. Highly recommend it!

Location on the main plaza was great and surprisingly quiet. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Shower was strong and easily adjusted. Pool looked great but we didn't use it, raining! Rooftop access for nice views. Owner was there to greet us and was helpful with recommendations.

Great location, right on the main square with onsite, secure parking. Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable.

The hotel's location is the best one of the downtown hotels

On the second floor there is a nice living room to sit and relax. This room has a white tile floor with black tile border around the room. I did not notice there is a step that has three black tiles leading into the guest rooms. Walking to the guest rooms where the white file ends there is a black tile horizontal, then a vertical black tile that is hard to see and then a horizontal black tile. This is a trip and fall hazard.

there was no running water and the airconditioning did not work. Staff did not help a lot and all initative to fix it had to come from us. They wanted us to pay full price as well.

súper nice owners with a great location in one of the main squares. Very close to los arcos restaurante for the best food. Huge Room and Bathroom with cable and wifi. I will definitely stay here in the future.

The room was very spacious, comfortable, climatized, tall ceilings, large bathroom... Everything you'd expect from a good hotel. Great location, free parking, very accommodating. Right next to a liquor store :)

Night shift staff was... strange.

Very good hotel. Perfect location, big room with comfortable beds. The style for me European guy was really different and I like it as the city of Izamal as well. We all were under huge impression of this area.

One thing, I'm not sure you can improve, is english speaking Personel. Thank's God google on the phone :-)

The location of the hotel was superb. The rooftop terrace had views to both the pyramid in the back and the convent in front. The rooms are very spacious and the shower was excellent.
