The condo is great. Wonderful views on the ocean and the sunset. The check in process was incredibly easy- a pleasant surprise compared to other resort in PVR. The pool beach area is great you can tell there are lots of old friends there but they are welcoming to “visitors “ like us. Close to the grocery store and lots of great restaurants. Only issue no place to store your luggage once you check out but we were able to find a solution to that and spend a little more time by the pool on our last day. 5 stars all around

This Icon unit has the most beautiful views of the bay and downtown, wow! And although it is nice on the inside, it is in need of more frequent deep cleanings- there was lots of dust everywhere and it didn’t leave a good feeling. As mentioned in past reviews, it just needs a little love to refresh the place- new towels, pillows and some upgrading the kitchen tools. Karla was great to work with and very communicative during our stay! PV is the best!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beachfront property. The views are stunning & the place was perfect for us. Icon is a gorgeous property! The beach bar has a good menu. The staff goes out of their way to help you. Both the owner & property manager offered easy communication and were always friendly & prompt when responding. Beautiful place!

Exactly as advertised. Pictures posted on vrbo are exactly what you get when you show up. Owner and staff were very accommodating. The view is stunning. We would recommend this condo to all and will hopefully return soon.

You read the description and see photos and you get excited and when you get there it's not as it says. The furniture is old and worn out. The dinning room chairs backs are broken at the bottom of the seat backs. The towels are old and the bed sheets and pillow case had holes. The pool towels that said there was embroidered with the unit number were not there along with the pool bags. The views are great this unit not so. The other nice thing about the Icon is the staff at the breakfast are nice and the concierge at that tower that this unit is in was friendly and helpful. If the owners would do a little upgrading and take care of the some of the issues it would be a great place.

We spent a short week, just 2 of us, in this property with amazing views. It was big for just us, but that just made it feel more luxurious. The wall of windows that opens up to mountain and ocean views can't be beat. The building has quite a few rules, but nothing crazy if you're going for a relaxing vacation. The handbook is helpful, the unit has everything you need in it, and the staff members are wonderful. Convenience store and large grocery/everything store are a quick walk around the corner.

Nice place

The condo is in a beautiful condo complex, and the location was perfect. Karla was easy to communicate with and her response times were prompt. The concierge and service staff were great. The condo needs some attention as far as updating broken or old furniture, worn out towels & linens, and kitchen cookware and utensils. You have to put money onto an Icon card to use at pool/beach bar and restaurant and must use it or lose it when leaving. Another issue is it is difficult to have friends visit due to property occupant only requirements so keep that in mind if traveling with others. We would definitely stay here again, and work with Karla and this host as well. They were delightful.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Icon. You stay here for the amazing rooms, private beach, and pool. If you want really good attentive service for food and drinks then you're better off at a resort or hotel. A single drink on the beach on average will take +30 minutes to receive. There isn't a "real" restaurant either, just some buffet-style meals for breakfast and lunch and a little menu at the beach bar, not sure about the price since we never ordered them. The beach bar is nice, but the service was not great. You can stand there for 15 minutes before someone helps you even though there are no other customers. It was very frustrating at times almost like they ignore you. You need to transfer money to an Icon card to purchase anything, which is a bit annoying, especially since you can't get any money back you don't spend. We just gave our card with our balance to another guest to use when we left. Like I said, you don't stay here for the service. One thing we noticed this trip around was a new bar nearby that played LOUD music until 3 AM almost every night. We were on floor 24 and it still rattled my bed. It was so loud for so long. It was very unfortunate. I'm not sure how the full-time residents deal with it. Our room was amazing. It was clean and had a washing machine, which we took full advantage of. It's definitely a slower-paced, private stay and we enjoyed that. Things we loved: • The private secluded beach is amazing. Unlike other resorts, there is always a beach chair available. No one is going down at 6 AM and reserving every chair there is. The waves are nice and calm and a private swimming area is designated in the ocean. • The pools are great and never too crowded. • Taxis are super easy and cheap to get. The front desk is very helpful with that. • Security feels nice, need a wristband to get in and gated entrance. Staff is everywhere • Every night the views are breathtaking. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We knew what to expect this time around and kind of had the lay of the land down. I think next time I want to stay closer to town, with more in walking distance.

Awesome stay here. We spent the first half of our vacation downtown then moved here. This is so, so much better. The view is spectacular. The condo is very well decorated, comfortable and has a great breeze blowing through when you open it up. We never needed A/C. We don't cook on vacation, but it looks like it has what you need if you do. It has an eclectic mix of glassware which we loved. Saw a whale from the balcony on our last morning. The only thing I would suggest is that they upgrade the lounges on the front balcony (one was broken) and the chairs on the back balcony. We mentioned it to the manager Karla and she said she was working on it. Overall this was exceptional. I would rent it again.

The property is just like pictured. The check in process was very easy and Karla was very helpful. The only thing is that the white towels that are to be used for the pool and beach need to be replaced. Some had holes and are worn out. Also the only bar at the property closes at 7 which we thought was a little too early.

The unit was absolutely beautiful. When we walked into the space it took her breath away. It was very clean, decorated beautifully, and the view was stunning. The owner and the property manager were very prompt returning all inquiries, and gave us recommendations on places to eat. Very satisfied!

Stayed at the Icon before, great place for a vacation.

This was a great place in all regards. The unit was as described and the amazing sunset views from the 24th floor unbeatable. Karla was available to setup us up, concierge extremely helpful and readily available as well. Amenities on property to easily enjoy breakfast lunch and dinner if desired. And the beach crew, Antonio, Pedro, Marcos and Hector were there with the entire staff doing everything possible to make the stay a memorable one. We will return and would highly recommend.

Expected three bedrooms as advertised, but only two. Big disappointment.

This is a beautiful suite like none other. To bad the owner has furnished and equipped the unit with the cheapest of items. This took away from what could’ve been an amazing place. The outdoor furniture was... well embarrassing, the worst of any other unit. TV cable didn’t work.

We feel so lucky to have been able to celebrate milestone birthdays at this beautiful location.

Very clean, well stocked, great amenities and very helpful and friendly staff. The nook and fold out bed may be a bit tight for 2 people but it worked out OK with just one sleeping there. Would recommend to anyone

We have stayed at this property before for three weeks and second time (2 weeks) didn't disappoint. Positive changes only such as security (wristbands), pads for the lounge chairs on the beach and the friendliest waiters and staff. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

What a superb condo in an incredible complex. We spent three absolutely magical weeks. The view from the 24th floor is fabulous over the bay of Puerto Vallarta. This apartment is very spacious, comfortable in a very secure location. We felt right at home with our family and will be returning to this beloved Mexico as soon as possible.

Our family had a great time at the Icon. The apartment was spacious , beautiful and the view was awesome. We enjoyed walking on the beach and swimming in the pool. We’ll definitely be back.

Very nice unit and adequately stocked with essentials. Security is key at this property. The property is in a good location from the center of town.

We have stayed at the Icon 4 times and it is fantastic. This condo has everything we wanted and needed. The views are amazing and the unit is fully stocked and very comfortable and clean. We are looking forward to our next trip to PV and the Icon and this unit is on our list to return to.

Great location for the kids to swim in the beach all day. The resort is very nice and the view for breakfast every morning from the kitchen is amazing. I will surely come back to this property.

We loved it, spectacular view!! well equipped condo and well kept. Loved the central location close to the airport, downtown and the Marina. Great swimming pools. Will love to stay there again.

Our family spent three weeks at this amazing condo from Dec 23 - Jan 13. The property manager Karla met us at the condo to give us a detailed tour even though our flight was delayed 3 hours with a winter storm, she was great to work with as were the owners through the booking process. The views were awesome and having the open air living was the best of all. The condo had everything we needed from cooking to cleaning and the resort like atmosphere was perfect for us as we ordered drinks and food from our lounge chairs. Great restaurants and groceries all steps away and a short taxi ride to Old Vallarta was perfect. We will be back!

Great view and accommodations. We will be back. The back deck is a wonderful area, if furniture was better we would have spent more time there especially in the afternoon.
