The breakfast was self service which suited us because we wanted an early start. There was plenty of choice and ample supplies.

It would have been helpful to have the wi fi password etc left in the room.

The breakfast was very good and there was plenty.you could have as much as you liked. The room was spotless. Kim and John were excellent host.

The shower. Could have done with a nice chair in the room. And in the bathroom a glass shelf for bits and pieces, comb, brush exctra. Not that any of that mattered much. The shower needs looking at.

The place was very clean and spacious with comfortable beds.

The continental breakfast was very basic. No fresh fruit or yogurt, just cereal, toast and powdered instant coffee. The TV in the bedroom was so small you couldn't view it from the bed. The heating was problematic because the temperature thermostat was in a separate building.

Wonderful host. Very helpful and always accommodating to my needs. Ultra clean and modern. A wonderful place to stay

Staff were great. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Room and bathroom were a good size. Communal areas were good.

Towels were too small. No bath mat to step out of the shower on to.

Being near to amazing walks

Upon reading the reviews which were all so very good I proceeded to make my booking. Including in those reviews were comments about the owners who make holiday makers feel incredibly welcome and this was true. I will go further to express my sincere gratitude that I felt very looked after because I was not there on holiday - my father was seriously ill in the local hospital and I lost him during my stay and the owners were very sensitive during my time there. I would definitely recommend this guest house not for that reason only but also because it is very fine accommodation indeed and is set in a rural and peaceful setting close to historical landmarks and countryside.

I honestly do not believe that anything could be improved upon there.

Did not serve breakfast but that was ok for me because I do not eat breakfast anyway.

Excellent location in beautiful countryside. Near to historic attractions and towns. Local Pub for meals just 3mins walk away. No meals were taken at the venue. Though we said in the holiday property we were a party of 2 . It is a great venue for a large party or celebration. There are however a lot of rules at this venue. You should acquaint yourself with them to avoid penalties. The rules are to keep everyone safe and ensure everyone has a good experience

.Access to a microwave and a fridge would have been useful

John & Kim were very friendly. It's in a good location, parking is great & it's all very clean. We enjoyed our stay
