If you want to feel like you are in Mexico during your trip to Mexico, look no further. Wonderfully comfortable condo in a great location. Hosts very friendly and gracious.

Unfortunately our stay was upended by my wife taking a tumble on the streets. The staff at the condo were super helpful throughout and even provided a wheelchair to use for the remainder of the stay.

First time at Vista del Sol although have been vacationing in PV for 30 years. Very comfortable home. Nice to have maid service and on-site personnel to help with any issues. Best recommendation I can give is that I would return if unit is available. Really great to be able to walk to so many places!!!

We loved the building and amenities. Everyone is super friendly and the location is perfect. I’ve been coming to this area for over 20 years, first by myself in my 20’s and then with family and friends. This was a fabulous place to come home to each day, and the owner is wonderful to work with. We are super appreciative!

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights in Rob's condo in mid September. The photos don't do it justice. It's absolutely beautiful, and the view from the balcony is stunning! The place was clean, had great linens, plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery, and cook ware. The appliances we used were all in great working order. The furniture was comfortable, including the bed, and there's plenty of space for two couples. The area is perfect for both old and young. It's quiet at night, bustling during the day, and within walking distance of anything you want to do- beach, bars, food, pharmacy, discos, and souvenir shopping, to name a few. It's also just a short drive from the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Thanks again, Rob, for being a great host!

We enjoyed every bit of our stay at this beautiful property. The building and neighborhood were safe, clean and had so much character. Many mornings were spent in rooftop pool or lounging in the chairs near it, and many evenings were spent exploring the delicious restaurants nearby. I loved the firm, high quality beds and our attentive housekeeper. The ocean views from the balcony were gorgeous and falling asleep to the sound of waves was just how I wanted to spend my vacation. We’ll be back!

This place is just as described and seen in the photos. It is in a great part of Puerto Vallarta and right on the beach. The view from the balcony and master bedroom is lovely. Would recommend!

We loved everything about condo, location on Malecon, and location to many great bars and restaurants!

This lovely condo has an excellent view, wonderful to sit on the balcony; especially during the lightning and thunderstorms. Sunset is georgous. Close to beach at your feet, walking to restaurants and the Malecon. Perfect location. Inside is full two bedrooms and baths, kitchen, and dining room for sitting inside and chit chatting with family.

To celebrate my 60th birthday, I chose this place and invited my older sister because of the ideal location and safety of the building. The pictures and description regarding this rental are accurate and do not this condo justice for 'a vacation in paradise' to quote my sister. Make sure to pack a pair of sturdy running shoes as exploring all the nearby shops, eateries and strolling along the boardwalk since some terrain is challenging for flip flops. We met some amazing, friendly tenants while enjoying the roof top pool and found about local coffee shops and grocery places they recommended. The concierge staff offered superior customer service with all their help and recommendations as well. This is a spacious, airy, and lovely condo with that rarest of things in PV, a fabulous cross-breeze! The condo is situated in such a way that there are excellent views as well, ocean, mountains, and town….magical, especially after dark when you can watch the Pirate ship sailing in the harbour! The beds are firm and supportive; for me the result was two weeks of zero back pain, which is amazing in a holiday rental! All of the furniture is of excellent quality, including the outdoor area where we could be comfortable for hours. The kitchen is very well equipped; plenty of tools, cutlery, serving bowls, plates, pots and pans…everything a cook could ask for, including plenty of counter space! Bathrooms are large and charming, with lovely tile work, and excellent plumbing, etc. The entire condo is immaculately clean and well maintained, and the building staff are helpful and informative. The host (Rob) is very kind and responsive and clearly cares a great deal about both this property, and his guests. In short, this condo is like a beloved home that we had the privilege of living in for two weeks, and we are eagerly looking forward to our return!

After having to cancel 2 years in a row due to covid, we're so happy we were finally able to stay at this amazing property! The location couldn't be more perfect and had all the comforts of home along with the authentic atmosphere inside the property. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and views from the deck. Awesome owner, too, thank you Rob; we'll definitely be back!

We had a very comfortable, enjoyable and affordable stay in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. The location is perfect - right on the beach Malecon. The beach and ocean views were fantastic. Location can’t be beat as literally everything in Romantic Zone and Cento is walkable from this centralized beach spot. Staff is very friendly. We were quite concerned arriving the same afternoon as major Hurricane Roslyn was set to make landfall with near direct hit to PV within 12 hours. Our host Rob personally called with information and reassurances. Everything turned out wonderful.

This is an amazing property. The property owner did a great job keeping this authentic while still giving you the necessities. This place is so clean and authentic you feel at home. The location can not be near a quick walk to so many places and great food all around. The one call out I have is that for beach chairs you have to walk a bit. The restaurant normally located here was closed for us so we had to walk to a restaurant that offered beach chair rental which was about 4 restaurants down. Not a big deal but for those not sure where to go just walk on down and you have to be ordering food/drinks to use them. Also not a big deal because the prices are amazing!! I travel a lot for work and stay in some amazing places and I would for sure rent this place again!

We have been coming to PV for several years. We love it here. This condo is right in the heart of everything. You can walk to many restaurants and bars from this condo. Very Mexican authentic which is what I love. We will be back. Thank you Robert

This place was perfect. Right on the beach, with a view of the rainforest from one side of the balcony and the beach from the other side. The accommodations themselves were absolutely wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed, the parrot decor was beautiful, and the cleaning lady Marisol kept the place absolutely spotless - she even made us some incredible swans out of towel. The location was very safe and right in the heart of downtown. Definitely hope to go back some day.

This was exactly what we were looking for. The property was clean, well maintained, and had a great location. Would definitely recommend.

The property is a bit run down it just needs a bit of TLC but it is decorated in a lovely Mexican décor. We were not notified that the pool was going to be closed until after our cancel date and that really changed our expectations of the trip. They did allow us to use another condo's pool but it was small and down the street and we only went once. The air conditioning in the second bedroom barely worked so my kids complained. My favorite was coffee on patio taking in the ocean views. The location is great if you want to be in the thick of it all. The staff were amazing and Rob(the owner) was very helpful when we reached out with concerns.

Marisol the housekeeper visited every day and kept things spotless. We cooked our breakfast and lunch, even some suppers with food from the local market. Everything we needed for cooking and serving for 4 people (or more) was ready at hand. The beds are large and very comfortable, and there are two en-suite bathrooms. Towels and linens are good quality. Our favorite spot in the apartment is the balcony. We ate most of our at home meals here, enjoying the breeze, and views of both the beach and the mountains. There's an excellent view off the back walkway too. On the night of the lunar eclipse, we brought our chairs out there, and watched the moon disappear, above the beautiful lights of the city. Everything we wanted was close at hand. Shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the malecon, just outside the door. The Sea Monkey Cafe on the ground level has great beach tables and loungers with umbrellas. This is definitely the place to be for sunset-watching, but it's also beautiful off the apartment balcony. Swimming is good at the beach out front, and on the large rooftop pool. There are plenty of loungers up there, and it's spotlessly clean. We felt very safe and secure, more so than at any other vacation rental we have visited. Twenty-four hour security at the door, and help with calling a taxi, bringing bags in and out, and always a friendly greeting. At night, they patrolled regularly. The entry door has a lockable gate, so the apartment can be secured while allowing the breeze to move through the apartment. Ceiling fans in every room, and AC in both bedrooms made the hot afternoons and evenings of mid-May comfortable. Our host Rob was helpful as we planned our trip, and once we had arrived. He responded to our queries promptly, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a great place to call home for a week or two in the best part of Puerto Vallarta, you have found it in 802. We can't wait to return.
