The hotel is in a great location. We went to a show at The Lowry theatre, which was a short walk away. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. What more do you need ?

The location is superb.

The room smelled of baby sick. There was a travel cot in the room which I didn’t request. I spoke with reception staff and was promised I would be given another room and that I could collect the key to the new room when I arrived back from a family celebration meal. When I got back the reception staff on the late shift seemed to know nothing about the room change and didn’t give me a key to another room. They said something about the new urtiwns smelling. My partner and I had to stay in a room for 2 nights that smelled of baby sick and had to take the travel cot out of the room ourselves.

The shower was broken reported and nothing said we cudnt shower No compensation for this not even a room change the air on was broke was like a sweat shop

As a wheelchair user, hotel fine but the quays not suited to wheelchairs, very few dropped kerbs,had to travel on roads,access to some areas ment long detours,. Having said that,still worth a visit, and yes i would go again

the area was great with good links to the city

there were a few power cuts early in the evening ( unavoidable not holiday inns fault) however this impacted my ability to complete some work related tasks and also effected the boiler system so caused problems with the shower heating when I woke up..

The check-in staff were friendly. With the lady on the desk registering us for IHG one rewards. The room was clean with a huge comfortable bed, had a great night's sleep with no noise from other rooms even though the hotel was busy. The Bathroom with the shower was good also. Buffet breakfast was nice especially the butter croissants. Would definitely stay again when visiting Manchester
