it’s beautifully kept, very quiet, lovely breakfast and Regina and Hugo couldn’t have been kinder. The shared common area was very comfortable and well stocked - although it’s a rural setting, there are several great restaurants within walking distance. We’d be back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful spot, quiet on the coast.

Everything. So glad I found this place. It's a cross between hotel, with high quality facilities, and self carering as you have access to a fully equiped kitchen if you want to cook or just keep your snacks and drinks really cool in the fridge. The pool and lounge areas and room itself are all excellent.

Check-in is unusial. Make sure you make a note of the phone number if you arrive after housekeeping staff have left. You'll need to ring to be told which room is yours and the all important key safe code. That wasn't clear to me until I arrived. There isn't an obvious sign outside either but it's a unique propery so you can't really miss it. Breakfast capacity is lower than number of rooms so get there early if your itinerary is time sensitive.

if you want to stay a bit outside of the town, more in the nature it is a dream! we really liked it! Breakfast was really delicious, and the living room and kitchen were great!

it was really mossy in the apartments, in the bathroom were mould because of the high humidity in the rooms.

Very nice experience overall, Azoia is wonderful village and staying at the mill is unforgettable experience. Very nice hosts. Everything was 10/10

Location is Colares .This is not mentioned and made it a bit difficult to find since there is another street with the same name somewhere in Azoia.

Regina was so helpful and friendly, providing a wonderful continental breakfast daily. The bedroom had all we needed, shower was well equipped and enough storage for our short stay

Our bedroom was a little warm and there was no fanor air conditioning. We got the afternoon sun and the blind was not enough to stop the room heating up. Also our bathroom had no fan

Just Perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Great location for exploring Sintra and the coast west of Lisbon. Very welcoming and friendly and I agree with every one else, the breakfasts are fab.

The place is nice and clean.

Checking in was a struggle as we couldn't get a hold of the host for hours. They didn't answer through the booking app and our calls never went through. Booking customer service reached out to the host for us and said the host would be waiting for us at the location, but the host never came and we were helped by another customer to reach out. It was quite stressful with a toddler. I think the booking description should also be more clear that the rooms are not inside the mill, but around it.

The property has potential, the area is great for someone who wants to get out of town but it's managed poorly

Check in process wasn't smooth at all, you have to wait for them to send you instructions as there's nobody present there and we were traveling from usa so we didn't really have good network, it says front desk 24/7 in the description but that's not the case. The owner is only available through booking texts to which he answers mostly late. The sheets were full of hair from previous renters which makes me think they were not changed, we asked for another room, we got another one, but the bed was hard like a rock, it's impossible to sleep on it, at 4am, we decided to add all the blankets and towels and we finally got some sleep. Property policy said no pets, at about 9am, we were woken up by two big dogs, one of them pooping right at our door and the owner didn't even notice. Breakfast is not like a buffet and you eat what you want, the owner had a couple stuff sitting in the fridge and he just managed to get some out, coffee cups were really dirty, my wife was pregnant and we didn't want take any risks. After all that, we thought it was enough for us and we decided to leave. We originally booked this for 2 nights, we left the 1st day before 11, and we contacted booking for a refund of the 2nd night and the owner didn't allow that.

Great breakfast, rooms, and location. Recommend it if you want to visit Sintra area and also be close to Lisbon.

When you arrive make sure you call the number on the entry gate. "Regina" is written on top of it. Or call booking.com customer support to solve for you. The number provided here on booking won't answer you. Everyone who arrived there while we were there also had this problem

The hotel, staff, surroundings and so on

Such a beautiful and calm place to stay. The rooms are decorated very nicely, the breakfast is great. The common pool area and the terrace are even nicer than you can see on the photos. Very relaxing place.
