Diogo is an excellent host and has included many special touches to make sure guests in the apartment feel welcome and comfortable, such as a book full of local information, cozy blankets throughout the apartment, tea and coffee packets, and a bottle of wine as a gift. The three bedrooms were perfect for our family and we loved having a kitchen, washing machine, and space to spread our a bit. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept well after our busy days exploring Lisbon. The apartment is in a perfect location and we could easily walk to many local landmarks and neighborhoods. The restaurant at the bottom of the building is excellent and there are also grocery stores, cafes, and the train station within a few blocks. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Lisbon.

We could hear when people walked up and down the stairs to the upper floors so it could be a bit noisy at times.

We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our trip easy. The met us upon arrival after helping to coordinate transportation from the airport. The have been extremely responsive throughout our booking and continued to be helpful throughout our stay.

Everything was fabulous. One of the two bathrooms was small but not a make or break. The apartment is so charming and spacious with everything we could need.

The property can't do anything about that: as a tourist, you're scammed a lot in Lisbon when you go clubbing. Really check Tripadvisor before you visit a club.

Staff is very friendly and fixed some minor issues very quickly! For guests who are looking for an appartment close to Chiado and party venues the place is perfect. Also very close to Rossio and Alfama etc. Two bathrooms are also very comfortable.

Noise from outside and above on upper floors. One bedroom is very dark and cannot be ventilated (except by aircon) as it is inside (without a window). Another bedroom is between living room and kitchen. Bedlights are rather cold and should be warm-white.

Beautiful apartment, great location in the center of Lisbon. Close to all sites. The apartment is charmingly decorated.

After 6 days in Lisbon we found that this location couldn't have been better. Train station to Sintra just down the road. Supermarket also down the road. The lovely Carmo plaza just above us. And a really good restaurant in the same building. Duque. Shopping just around the corner. The bridge from Elevador few steps away with wonderful views. Really nice beds, very clean apartment. Will for sure stay here again if we come back.

We had some very noisy Americans who woke us up each night around 3-4am when they came home, which was very annoying. They stayed above us and the walls are not very thick.

We liked every single thing about the property. The owner are very nice, they contact us in advance to give us all the information needed to get to the address. Francisco, the guy that handles the apartment, was more than helpful, he gave us all the useful tips that made our life fantastic during our stay in Lisbon. He answered all our questions really fast. He was so nice that he found something that we forgot and offered to send it to us. The apartment is very clean and spacious, really nice furnished, with high ceilings and also it is right in the heart of the city, close to almost all tourist highlights and the Rossio station (very useful if you plan to visit Sintra and Cascais).

As I said we can’t complain about anything, our stay in Apartment do Carmo was great, except for the upstairs neighbors that just moved in and were a bit noisy early in the morning. But this is not something that you could blame the owners of the property, nobody can control this things. That shouldn’t be such a big problem because nobody goes to Lisbon to stay in the apartment

People upstairs are very noisy with their foot traffic, some smell of grilled food coming up from restaurant below in one room.

The apartment was excellent!! The host amazing and helpful!! Clean and cozy place where they perfectly fit 8 people to sleep (has two baths)!! We loved the location, you could go almost everywhere on foot!! I truly recommend it!!

A really nice apartment and very well decorated

Property was very central close to some lovely squares to sit with a beer. Very comfortable well equipped apartment and meet and greet was easy and friendly. Felt very welcome and well looked after.

I didn’t realise I needed cash to pay (so used to cards these days). We had a car and wasn’t ideal for that (well central Lisbon not ideal!!).
