We lived in this area for 7 yrs and were looking for a place in a good location to walk to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and the beach. This is it! Five minutes and you're there. Very clean and the water pressure is strong and water is hot. Nice breakfast for a low cost as well if you'd like to add it. This is not fancy, but it suits our needs perfectly, and I love how each room is named after an artist and decorated with their work. Alex is a very helpful manager, and he speaks several languages well. We will stay here again. Also it is a very quiet area which is difficult to find anywhere in this town. So a good night's sleep is possible.

It was nice and central in the town with nice stores close by. The food in the surrounding area was great. It was very enjoyable to sit on the roof of the hotel and indulge in a locally made cigar and rum.

I really did not enjoy that the shower had a shower curtain rather than a glass shield. Beyond that it was rather enjoyable to stay there.

location is great. Two blocks from the beach. Friendly staff, bonus breakfast to keep you going for a while. Drinking water is a good bonus. Good vale for the price. Nice to have a microwave and a refrigerator in the room plus a few kitchenette.

We booked a double room and instead were given a triple room on the first floor with unlocked windows but got switched to a second level upon requested. noisy traffic but that didn’t bother us as we are used to loud noise. Windows in both room we got don’t lock. Cleaning must be requested. No safe in the room. Breakfast is typically running late for 30 minutes so don’t expect to get breakfast until 9. No one speak English so be prepared to use Google Translate. They prefer cash payment but didn’t tell you ahead of time or pay 20% fee if pay with cards. ATM fee around the area is super high, but the one at downtown mall has no fee. You could go there and withdraw cash and do grocery shopping at the same time if you’re staying for a while.
