The service and the room

Not too far from airport. Liked leaving as soon as possible. Bathroom was in reasonable condition.

No welcome, just take payment. Room had 14 inch tea stained TV which didn't work. No wardrobe, chair or table. Only oversized TV base covered in sugar and dust. All furniture looked as if bought for a couple of pound in second hand shop. Like a student bedsit from the 1980s. Don't use room advised taxi service as they charged twice as much as the taxi black cab we hailed at airport. I know you don't get much for £80 in London but I would not call it a guest house, more of a hostile standard in welcome, cleanliness and facilities. Finally kettle with only one mug supplied and located just above electric extention block an accident waiting to happen. Shocking, owner looking to take maximum money for as little investment as possible. Location location location!

When I arrived there I knocked on the door and the guy said “only knock once” and was rude and mean. could hear everything even thoe my door and window were shut. bed was uncomfortable as well as the pillows. didn’t expect much but honestly thought the room would be bigger then a jail cell. was advertised when I booked “taxis to airport from £12 - £20” but mine cost £40.

Nice place to stay if you are looking for reasonable price and around heathrow airport.. Host is really a nice guy

Could have been best if there were arrangements of tea / milk/ sugar at common kitchen or in room so that one can have a refreshment tea after a troublesome journey
