There was not much to like about this property. Location is very convenient. Concierge desk staff were friendly.

Almost all aspects about this property can be better. 1. Cleanliness - The pool area is very unclean with pigeon droppings in the pool. This hotel has a major pigeon issue. All outdoor areas, including pool area, stinks of sewage drain. The bathrooms including shower and toilers are not cleaned regularly. There was soap build up on the handheld shower, pipes, shower cubicle glass and the shower floor. The toilet was stained and did not smell fresh. 2. Rooms - The rooms had a cigarette smoke odour and was very off-putting. The towels and bed linen are very old and feel quite cheap. 3. Reception - Although I had a confirmed reservation, the reception staff required about 40 minutes to complete the check-in process. There was no communication to explain the delay. The staff took our IDs and went on with their business. At least they could have said they'll need a long time instead they chose to ignore us while we continued to stand at the reception. Even though my booking explicitly mentioned that breakfast was included, the staff charged me more and I had to get the charges removed. Then they made comments that they are doing us a favour by including breakfast. I requested for a change in the room due to the bad odours and was promised a change the next day. The next day the staff had no clue about this request and were not helpful in any way. 4. Buffet breakfast - Breakfast time was 7:30 - 10:30 and was over crowded every time we went in to have a look for a table. The food was average and most of the dishes were empty. It took the staff a long time to refill. They also setup a buffet next to the pool but eat there at your own risk. Plenty of pogeons around to drop their feathers or pool into your food. Plus if you sit outside, you are forced to eat with the sewage smell. Staff offered to bring me an omelette from the live counter and I had to remind them 4 times about it. We booked 2 rooms at this property and both failed to impress.

Lots of hussel for booking room. Extra charges taken other tha the amount shown in booking confirmation. It took 2 hrs at the front desk to book the room...!! They were not considering the confirmation done by booking.com and this caused a lot of discomfort at midnight after reaching the hotel. Totally ruined the Start of the visit.
