Excellent property! Very clean. Plenty of room for our extended family to spread out and relax. The kids loved the pool table, hot tub, arcade machine, and big screen tv in the lower level. Large kitchen with island and the kitchen table was great for family meals. Also walking distance to Old Man’s Cave trail. I would highly recommend this property.

Good accommodations for a big family

The property was perfect for our group of 16 adults! It was exactly as advertised and Julie was responsive and communication was great through the whole process! Loved it!

All of us said we would stay there again

We had a church leadership retreat here and the accommodations were great. We loved the outdoor fireplace on the back deck and the natural beauty that surrounded us there. The lodge was clean and comfortable. We had a couple of minor issues with the coffee maker and a bathtub drain but they quickly resolved both within a couple of hours. Great place to stay in Hocking Hills!

This property was EXACTLY as stated! Or , even, better. Extremely clean, spacious and an ideal location. Wi-Fi is now more than adequate. Furniture clean and comfortable. Water pressure could be better, just need to stagger showers and washing appliances. If I had a wish list, the only thing I could think of was adding another dishwasher with the number of people it holds., It is a beautiful property and Julie was on top of everything. We had no need to call her, but I have no doubt she would have responded immediately. Also, beautiful setting and lots of activities close by. Thank you Julie for a fabulous vacation!!!

We had a blast during our stay in this cabin, it met all of our needs. The water pressure tends to drop significantly when multiple showers/sinks were going at the same time, but that seems to be pretty standard in this area. The checkout process/requests were very reasonable, and Julie was incredibly helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

We all thought that the house had everything that we needed and more. We were all very comfortable. We are talking about going again next year.

Lodge is very nice; lots of room to spread out. Great 360 degree deck with lawn and woods view. Only negative: internet connectivity / streaming is poor to none at all. Very close to Old Man’s Cave.

There were 16 family members on our trip. We really enjoyed the proximity to all the hiking trails. Even though we had some rain, there were plenty of activities at the cabin to enjoy, hot tub, billiards, cornhole, huge fire circle, outdoor fireplace, Pac-Man arcade game, etc. We brought some of our own games which was helpful. We loved the spacious areas which gave everyone their own space including the bedrooms. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed, we did bring a few of our own things. We couldn’t find kitchen towels but they were brought to us the next day. There were two refrigerators which was helpful. The upstairs one however was lacking a couple door shelves and another broke while we were there. The only other thing we thought needed attention was a large amount of bird droppings on the outside upper deck which we cleaned up before using the fireplace. We would definitely recommend the cabin to friends and come again!

We had such a lovely stay. We vacationed with 3 other families, each with 2-3 kids and felt very comfortable in the space. It’s very well laid out for there to be plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the basement and games! Communication with Julie was great and appreciate her kindness and promptness. Tips: Coffee/spices/oils/foil/sandwich bags not included, so helpful to bring your own. We were able to Instacart these from Meijer at 10pm though. Would definitely stay again!

The moment we stepped inside we knew this place was perfect. Everyone had an amazing time. Plenty of space, lots to do inside and out. The walk to Old Man’s Cave was easy and refreshing! Beds are comfy and all the amenities we needed for the kitchen were there. The only issue is the stove may need updated, it took a long time to reach the temperature needed and delayed some food. I would definitely come back to this cabin for a large group again! Thank you Julie, you were very helpful and easy to reach!!

Great place for large family gatherings like ours, with lots of space and activities. Especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub!

Was an amazing weekend. Kids played pool, Pac-Man, hot tub and lots of games. Great hike to old man’s cave and very close to the property. Can’t wait to come back.

The cabin is very spacious and easily accommodated our large family of 18. Large kitchen was perfect for our Holiday meals. Cozy fireplaces, game rooms for children and teens. Clean well kept bathrooms and laundry. Located within in minutes of the beautiful Hocking Hills State Park. Park has many beautiful trails, falls, and caves. Our entire family was very pleased with our 4 days at this location. Great value. Owners were super nice and quick to accommodate our needs. Highly recommended.

Our family -18 of us - spent a wonderful Thanksgiving family reunion at Rose Ridge. The house was gorgeous and accommodated our family perfectly! Huge kitchen with island was wonderful for cooking our feast ( we took 2 turkey roasters because there is just one oven). The two refrigerators were helpful. Beds were a bit soft and upstairs bedrooms noisy with a crowd that large. The beautiful all wood construction was like an echo chamber so take earplugs for sleeping! The lower level for the kids was perfect however! Furniture in lower level and family room needed replaced but was told that was in the works. Bedroooms could use some small dressers too. Parking area fit all 9 cars! This house was very close to Old Mans Cave and the family enjoyed many of the hikes in the area which were beautiful with icicles and frozen waterfalls! We would stay here again at any time of year!

Great weekend retreat.

This place was awesome! We had 10 adults over 65 and it was perfect. The driveway in was a bit dicey for a couple but it was fine if you went slow. The home was wonderful and just as pictured. The covered wrap around porch was fabulous. The bedrooms are small but the gathering spaces are excellent and perfect for family times . Lots of places to gather and to get away. Recommend highly.

This is a great property! We had a large group and everyone was able to have their own bed/room and able to spread out. Really close to the hiking trail to Old Man’s Cave which was great - no car necessary! Beautiful view of the surrounding woods. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!

This is a perfect getaway for family groups. Lots of space and comfortable furniture. There was a large dining table and separate gaming table for our board game, dominoes and Old Maid lovers. The bunk room was great for cousins to get to know each other better. We never turned the TV on! Internet is very sketchy, but that was made clear from the get go. If you need to work remotely while on vacation, this would not be your best choice. Especially if your plan is Verizon. Our ATT subscriber had better reception. My goal was family time and this property was perfect. Great furnishings, lots of space, beautiful and quiet environment and well stocked kitchen. Loved it!
