The landlord is such a nice person, always supportive and really cares about her customers. The location of the cottage is just awesome, next to it is Fairlop Waters Country Park, perfekt for running and walking the dog and even more important is, that Centralline is just at the doorstep...100yds. away from the cottage

The hosts were very nice and accommodating, always happy to assist and provided us with everything we needed for our stay. They even got us some cat food for our cat, which, after a long travel was appreciated.

The annex is rather small, the bathroom is similar to an airplane one. Not a big deal for us, and probably if you come to visit the city you'd be out and about all day, so it won't matter that much.

This house was absolutely lovely. You really couldn't have gotten much closer to an extremely useful underground station to be on the line for, brilliantly located. There is even a car boot sale in the nearest field on Tuesdays that looked very well populated. I could not believe how well equipped the place was. We arrived to a brand new milk in the fridge, coffee, any type of tea you might like, salt, sugar, and a full range of utensils in a fully equipped kitchen that even had a dishwasher. When we wanted to clean our clothes, we were able to use the washing machine in the room and the host was happy to provide clothes maidens and laundry liquid! The water pressure for the shower was really good, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the sheets felt luxurious, and our privacy was respected the whole time we were there, you couldn't ask for better hosts, and I actually felt secure leaving my belongings there (Where I'm from, we learn that if it's not with you, don't expect it to be there when you get back!) The price was better than anything else we found in the area, and I would absolutely look here before thinking of anywhere else if I were to stay in London again. It was a home from home!

To say I didn't like anything would be unfair, since I know I could have spoken to my hosts at any time and they would have gone above and beyond to sort it out for me. The only thing worth noting is that the hot water is a little weak and slow out of the tap, it will get to the cold side of bathing temperature after a while, but to solve this we could have simply boiled water in the kettle and filled the sink with it. Really, if I'm writing things like that, you can tell I'm nitpicking!

the landlord lady (also her husband) was super kind and helpful, there was almost everything I needed, the bed is very comfortable, it was a very quiet place though it's next to the train and bus station, there is a farm right next to the cottage and a wonderful park I can highly recommend this place! Would love to come back next time.

a bit more cleaner place, the curtains could have been less transparent, towels for kitchen, maybe a pan for cooking and a kettle, sofa instead of two chairs :)

I honestly wish I could keep this place a secret but since I can't do that I'll shout out a hearty recommendation from the rooftops of this Booking.com review. 1. Communication- prompt, efficient and timely 2. Security- CCTV on premises and over the car park 3. Location- very quiet and close to Fairlop Waters for restful walks, bike and boat rides. 4. Host- cheerful and welcoming.
