Oliver was a sweetheart! We had a wonderful stay and there are some delicious restaurants in the area. Such variety!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo property. It is close to the Riverwalk area of Ft Lauderdale and Sailboat Bend is a historic and interesting area to walk around. The host was friendly and made some outstanding restaurant recommendations.

Great location for our purposes. Walked all over to restaurants shopping misc venue. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The house did not have many items available as I’m used to for a VRBO but it had all the basics and was clean and cozy. Oliver was great and thanks for the blow dryer!

My buddy and I stayed 2 nights. The place was clean, good neighborhood, quiet. The A/C worked great, would stay again.

Oliver was such a great host, the property is also in an amazing location. I was staying in the property by myself and felt extremely safe. I loved my morning and evening walks in the neighborhood. Being so close to Las Olas was also another plus. I'll definitely be staying here again soon!

The location of this cottage was perfect for anyone who enjoys walking. The scenic Riverwalk is very close & I used it every day. Also a great place for dog owners. Big yard & parks literally across the street. The area is very dog friendly. The cottage was as described with nice clean floors! Host was very friendly & communicative. If we return to this area we would stay here again.

The property is a large, enclosed lot with tons of trees that make you feel the lushness of the flora. It is located across the street from a nice sized public area on a branch of the New River.

I desperately needed a place to stay with my dog due to my building having to do maintenance in my apartment. I am so happy I came across this rental. The cottage was so cozy and quaint! The owner (Oliver) was so nice and accommodating. The yard is spectacular, especially if you have a dog. My dog had so much room to run around and play on. The location is in a fantastic area, and I was only a few minutes away from Las Olas. Many parks to walk to in the area, are great neighborhoods to walk around as well. I will recommend it to friends!

the property is very large with lush greenery surrounding the cottage. we really like the area and this is our second time in Sailboat Bend, we will most likely visit the same area if we return to Ft. Lauderdale. Oliver is very welcoming and very easy to communicate with.

My husband, two kids and two dogs stayed at this charming cottage for over a month and love every minute of it! The front yard is great for the fur babies, fenced in parking, and you can walk to the river walk which we did most every day! Oliver and his dad were so lovely great communicators and let us in on the local spots. I highly recommend this quaint little cottage.

The owner Oliver was such a gentleman and helpful you were in a great location we were able to take the water taxi to the ocean and there were many restaurants and entertainment within five minutes at the same time our property was very private and very clean I give this property five star rating overall, we will definitely return in December. I have already recommended property to settle our friends the ability of the property in December. And we will return also... Thank you Oliver for all your hospitality and recommendations.

The property was cute and quaint. There is a large lawn when you first enter the property in front of the cottage. The cottage has a lot of charm, character, and is surrounded by lush plant life. A gorgeous 120 year old tree lives right next to the cottage's deck. Oliver and his father were both friendly, personable, and attentive to questions and recommendations. Checking in and out was easy and hassle free. We had a great stay!

House and property was perfect for our family of 3 and small dog. Host was super nice and had great communication with us every step of the way.

We recently had the opportunity to take a trip to Fort Lauderdale. We found the cottage on VRBO and instantly fell in love. We were looking for a comfort and easy access to all the festivities southern Florida has to offer, and we found it here. Excellent hospitality from Oliver and Paul. They not only went above and beyond in making our stay great, they presented a list during checkin with all the most popular restaurants in the area. 👍 Clean, artistic, serene, absolutely gorgeous! We've stayed at dozens of VRBO sites around the country. Whenever we travel, we use VRBO. Comparing Oliver to the other 3 dozen proprietors We've met, Oliver blows them all away with his helpfulness, attentiveness, and response time. The little two bedroom bungalow is cute and fun, but what makes the place special is Oliver.

My wife and I were looking for something other than a condo or apartment.. A little home away from home. We were really happy to be able to be in a safe neighborhood and have some space and nice landscaping.. The home is not all new and shiny but very comfortable. a cottage.

great stay

We booked this nice little house in Fort Lauderdale for our Chicago wintert break vacation. We were welcomed by Oliver, a very kind and helpful young man. Communication with him was easy and responsive. The house has a large, fenced yard and is nicely located between large trees and palm trees. The house is listed for a good/low price (listing pictures should be updated though) so it is basic and small but you get what you pay for so we had a very nice stay and enjoyed the yard especially with our two young kids. We do have some recommendations to the owner/landlord (Vigil family) which are basically derived from the understanding that basic is fine but broken or missing (basic essential) is not, more specifically: - multiple blinds are broken and/or not working properly - there is no table in the yard or the porch. In a climate as Miami, and a big nice yard and a porch being available, it is hard to understand why there is no outside table to sit at to eat, have drinks and play cards. We solved this to some extent by moving the inside coffee table outside, but was not ideal. - more plates and bowls should be available. New (eating) knives as well, these were so blunt I would not mind letting my kids play with them (figure of speech) - there were no dishcloths or kitchen towels at all, which in our view is a basic essential, especially considering there is no dishwasher (which in itself is fine and is clearly apparent from the listing). - the white clothing storage racks were broken and/or so cheap it didnt work properly. Main message (merely as constructive feedback): Throw a little bit of money to items as mentioned above and we would have given an “excellent” review (now we did “good”).

Perfect oasis by downtown Fort Lauderdale in super cute Sailboat Bend neighborhood. The cottage is tucked into the corner of a huge and beautiful yard which my dog loved! The house had what we needed for our one month stay and we loved sitting on the decks while working from home. From the moment we arrived Oliver and Jake welcomed us and were so helpful and responsive. They shared local recommendations and made our stay so very pleasant!! Definitely recommend 🌴

We booked this cozy cottage for just over a month, and could not have been happier. We were greeted on arrival by the very helpful and cheerful Oliver, the younger son in this family-run property. The home was clean & inviting and absolutely picturesque. We have a small dog who delighted in the large and private grassy yard. The older son, Jake, was extremely responsive to the very few issues that arose during our long stay. The home is lovingly restored and spruced up inside and out, and everything worked to our satisfaction. It was also nice to have a fully-equipped kitchen, plenty of clean towels and lots of spare consumables (paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, plastic bags, foil, etc, etc.). We were easy walking distance to a public park with tennis courts, a wonderful pet-friendly restaurant, a late-night convenience store and minutes away (by car) from the Riverwalk area of the delightful city of Fort Lauderdale. This was our best VRBO stay yet.

We were thrilled to find this charming cottage and kind host. While rustic, the cottage had what we needed. After a few days it became clear that the yard and house were infested with fleas. The property owner was very sympathetic and offered us a full refund once they realized the extent of the infestation (and subsequent multitude of flea bites). Sadly they didn’t keep their word and only partially refunded us. It was a terrible experience in what seemed like a very cute rental.
