beds were good and big. kitchen, dining area nice. location was ok £7-8 taxi ride or 20-30 minute walk

very unclean as photos will show. unpredictable ceiling heights. no slip mat in the bath/shower (dangerous). so many hoops to jump through to get a booking it wasn’t worthwhile. introduction letter was unbelievably long. no maps or what do in the local area.

it is a bit tired and could do with some tlc however it was clean and tidy. the deposit process is a nightmare and I have never had to do this before and give id.

The app to unlock the front door which was in such bad shape we could’ve kicked it in… and nerve-racking as to whether it would work. Good old-fashioned door keys please! The crazy way we had to send selfies of us holding ID - which provides absolutely no evidence of who actually comes to stay… And unfortunately the fridge door fell off in the first half hour and it could do with a lick of paint.

Absolutely nothing. Property looked nothing like pictures shown. House was worn/tired, cold and the sofa/carpets had a strange smell. Over two weeks since stay and still waiting for my £300 deposit back. Management very slow to respond and then just refer you to other management teams. House has no parking and is very far from shops/attractions and is opposite flats that resembles council estate/social housing. Didn’t feel like a safe area. Getting into house is a nightmare as you have to download an app that didn’t work. I was left outside properly for 30 mins and management did not respond to messages.

The pictures indicated that the house had a trampoline and baby safely gates. But when we arrived there were none. The garden was empty and my three children were very disappointed as I’d promised they could play on a trampoline after our very long drive. Also no safety gates made our stay with twin toddlers very stressful as there are three floors and the staircases are steep with no railings. We’d even asked in advance about the baby gates and so felt we’d been misled when there were none. Management slow to respond and refused to offer any form of apologies or discount. Still waiting for our £300 deposit back.

Fantastic location, close to lots of local shops, cafes and restaurants - only a 8 mins walk to central Oxford. Lovely house, that was well equipped. The rooms were bright and airy. I would definitely recommend this property, especially if there were a few of you and you wanted to all be together. Great stay!

It was a real faff at the beginning of the stay. The booking agent wanted scanned copies of photo ID's of all adults staying at the property (plus selfies with you holding the ID). Then you had to pay a hefty deposit (which has not yet been returned), and finally you had to download an app and figure out how to open the door using your phone app. It was quite tricky and stressful - hoping that you'd be able to get all the info through in time. I did call the agent and they were super helpful which was good

The property was perfect for what we wanted. We were a group of 6 teachers and the property gave us a great place to be together again. The bedrooms were spacious as well as a great living area and kitchen. The location in Jericho was also perfect for our needs to get into the high street of Oxford.

The process of negotiating with StayBeyond was strenuous to say the least. There was an issue with the ceiling leaking in the living room from the shower on the first floor which was pre-existing and there was also plugs that caused electric sparks from the wall.
