My wife & I stayed and visited this area for the first time. The lake itself is huge and we enjoyed kayaking on it. Our VRBO unit fir our needs and was comfortable for the 2 of us.

Good location to everytyin the area. Cabin will equipped with everything to make are stay comfortable.

My fiance and I chose this sweet little cabin for our babymoon and we loved it! It was a great location so we were able to visit the lake, the local flea market, and even the nearby deer park during our short weekend. The cabin was comfortable and supplied all necessary amenities, and we loved being able to spend the evenings around the fire pit (we really appreciated that firewood was included!). One of the bedrooms has a cute skylight, and the living area was perfect for relaxing between outings. Would highly recommend!

If you’re looking to “disconnect” from today’s stresses that come from work, constant attachment to your phone, and business of everyday life, this cabin is perfect for you! I didn’t do all that much research and didn’t realize that there was no wifi but it only made the trip better. Gave me and my friends a chance to put down our electronics and just enjoy living with no obligations or stress. The traffic was a little loud especially with it being Memorial Day weekend, but we didn’t mind too much. Staying on the front porch, hanging out, and watching all the different trucks and trailers drive by was certainly a highlight of our stay. I was able to get back into reading books since I did not have any distractions from the TV or phone. There is also a very neat BBQ spot right across the street that serves great food! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a real hiatus from the bustling world we live in. Thanks Linda and Larry!

This property was lovely, everything we expected. It is cozy and cute, perfect for a small getaway. The kitchen is well stocked, the property was clean and welcoming. The property is on well water so the water can be a little funky, but the fridge was stocked with bottled water so it was fine. We loved this as a quick getaway, will come back next time we need a breather. Highly recommended.

We loved the coziness of the cabin! Everything we needed was supplied. It was great bringing our 2 furry friends. We plan on staying again!

Beautiful place prime location we really enjoyed our stay. Place was clean very comfortable

No internet service. Unable to make calls on my phone (I have verizon service). Tried to use my hotspot on my phone it would stall every 30 seconds. Made me very uncomfortable to be a women alone and not have phone service. Almost drove my spark into the ditch making that sharp left into the driveway because no lights or reflectors marking driveway. It was very dark even with the porch light left on. Too close to the road not a remote as it appears in photo. Very noisy, a lot of truck and trailer traffic. The water has a very very bad smell. My dog would not drink it.

Perfect retreat during cool rainy fall days. Enjoyed cooking, eating and crafting. If cooking is not your idea of relaxing there are lots of options nearby for food.. There are plenty of outdoor seating and options for activities including a boat ramp and archery range. Also a public golf course and winery nearby but we were content to hang around the cozy cabin and the wood stove.

The hosts were so nice, so helpful, and so patient when I called for directions. Very clean, cozy cottage, close to everywhere we wanted to be. I was instantly comfortable there. I loved having my morning coffee on the front and back decks, and will definately book again.

This is a good rental in the off season and during the week . not sure I would stay during the peak season on a weekend when kids are not yet in school.

The property was very nice. The location of the property was not as quiet as we would have hoped. We understood the kitchen would be fully stocked and there was not enough utensils for cooking or eating.

beautiful rustic cabin, well cleaned and maintained, everything you needed was supplied, ready to move in had no problems whatsoever, it was quiet and the peaceful retreat we were looking for, access to the lake and activities was very accessible, will definitely stay again

Avery beautiful rustic cabin. Everything worked. Located3 mins away from boat and Kayak rentals. Also a ramp if you have your own boat. The kitchen seemed to be at bare minimums on equipment.{only 3 forks}. Still a great place and I would rent this again.

We enjoyed our stay here and how close it is to all the things we wanted to do. It was cold enough in the evening to have the wood stove lit. We were glad there was a grill and picnic area outside. We are thankful the dogs could come with us. There was plenty enough room for us and our fur kids.

Nice clean little cabin! Perfect for a little get away.

We had a great experience staying here. The beds were comfy. The sheets and towels were clean. The AC kept the cabin cool on hot summer days. The backyard was surrounded by trees for shade and privacy. We had fun playing arcade games and yard games provided at the cabin. We rented a boat from a marina that was only 5 minute drive away. Very convenient location close to the lake. The host answered all my questions ahead of the visit and made the check in super easy. And we very much appreciate being able to take our dog on this getaway.

The place was great! Lots of activities and games. Clean and easy to get to. Would go back again. Lots of shade in the back to help on those hot days.
